EASTER BLESSINGS Things have been very different in the parish during the last few weeks. In stead of meeting together in church on a Sunday many of us have been keeping in touch through the wonders of Facebook and YouTube, and we may have started to think about what makes us Church. The message of Easter tells us that we must go through the Crucifixion to reach the Resurrection. Some of us may be enjoying the warm weather while others may be worrying where their next meal is... coming from now their income has suddenly stopped. Now more than at at any other time we need to remember those in need. For some time one of the local charities the parish has supported has been the Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank by bringing donations of food to church. While we can't do that so easily now, those who can might like to donate money to them through their website. God bless and keep safe. http://www.bradfordfoodbank.com/

HOW TO MARK GOOD FRIDAY AND EASTER Many children all over the country have put rainbows in their windows as a sign of hope in this troubled time. As Christians our greatest sign of hope is the Cross. On this Good Friday and the Easter weekend why not encourage your children to make and colour in a Cross to put up in the window next to the rainbow.
EASTER MESSAGES Some of our children have been sending in prayers that Fr Keiron has been reading out after the Sunday Mass. If any parishioner would like to add their Easter Message, please email it to the office ( office.stteresabenedicta@dioceseofle eds.org.uk ) and we will try to get them together for Sunday.
REACHING OUT TO LONELY PARISHIONERS Fr Keiron is looking for some volunteers who would be willing to ring some of our more isolated parishioners for a chat. This would be a confidential service just for this time of crisis. Anyone interested should ring Fr Keiron in person.
PRAY FOR PRIESTS At this time when the churches are closed and we are relying on streaming the Mass onto our computers, somehow it makes you realise what a special priest we have in Fr Keiron. If you agree you might want to join with Cardinal Nichols tomorrow and say a special prayer for our priests. https://www.cbcew.org.uk/prayforpriests-d uring-holy-week/
