Been every year for the past 3 years and it gets better and better. You could eat off the toilets and showers they are so clean
Superb place to stay could do to have 16amp hook up instead of 10 but love coming here over the years

Stayed in a camping pod. As an ex camper this gave me a great way to feel like I was camping but with the comforts I have come to need; a heater, carpeted floor and plug sockets. The view in the morning was spectacular as well.
Total rip off, change £30 a night for a tent and an extra £10 a night for bike trailer that I also put canoes on so they classed it as a boat trailer which then had to be left in the car park as not allowed boat trailers next to tents. Also at that price there wasn't even allocated parking for trailers so had to struggle to park it as lots of cars. Site is very uneven dispute what they say on website. They also say about fantastic views, load of rubbish. Place is surrounded by trees. Kids on bikes everywhere. Noise until 11.30 every night. Terrible terrible terrible. This is the first negative comment I have ever left on anywhere I have stopped before so if you read this and go there then kick off about it you only have yourselves to blame. Oh nearly forgot the turning from the road into the lane leading to the site is not good it approaching from the left, high curb and turn night on back on yourselves, be careful.

Beautiful scenery, great facilities, ideal location for exploring the Lake District! Even when we've stayed in torrential rain we've enjoyed ourselves (although the sunny days we've had this time have made it even better)
The best chocolate brownie I have experienced served in their restaurant situated in beautiful lake district surroundings.
A lovely campsite with fantastic views over the lake. We stayed there for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
