Would highly recommend these lodges, the owner Helen, is lovely and very helpful. Our group took our horses but it would be fantastic without horses too!
Well wrinkly from hot tub over-use...out in snowy blizzards, torrential rain as well as blazing sun (all in 4 days...!) lodge toasty warm and cosy - everything you need and more xxx x
Spent the bank holiday weekend here with 3 friends. Cannot recommend these cabins more highly! They are very cosy and well equipped with everything needed. The views are simply stunning, hot tub is absolutely amazing, couldn’t be more relaxed than lying in the hot tub looking at the scenery and at night, the stars are beautiful. The crown pub is a short walk away and does amazing food. There are lots of local walks and Hexham is a short drive away, which is a lovely town. There are lots of activities and tourist attractions in the surrounding area. Helen the host stays close by is extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend a stay in these beautiful cabins. We will definitely be back.
Returned today from a weekend here for our 1st wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed, although it snowed, it didn't stop us getting in the hot tub and enjoying the beautiful view. Helen was so nice and came to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. When we got there she already had milk in the fridge, and tea, coffee and sugar which was really thoughtful, she recommended the pub The Crown(which Is a 2 minute walk away) for food......its seriously amazing food. We've had a fantastic time and will definitely be booking back up with our kids.
Our group came with our horses, Helen was really welcoming and the place us very chilled. Our dog and horses loved it! Great rides for the horses, and lovely people in the village who went out of their way to help us find places to hack to...fabulous community spirit! Loved it! !
Our first visit to the lodges this week and what a lovely time we've had. The setting is beautiful. Surrounded by the most lovely rural countryside with bridleways and footpaths right on the doorstep. The lodge itself was perfectly equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. We brought our horses and the facilities were ideal. Lovely paddocks and great riding routes from the front door. The hot tub and lovely country pub within waking distance were the icing on the cake. Already planning our next visit. Thank you Helen for a wonderful holiday xxxx
My favourite place to stay! One of the best weekends i have ever had! Hot tub just tops it off! We couldnt believe how warm & cosy it is inside the cabins! Cant thank helen enough for the lovely stay. Fantastic hidden little gem this place! Cant wait to plan many more trips back here �

Just returned from lodge and can honestly say was the best place we have ever stayed. Views are amazing and lodge was immaculate inside and out. Such a lovely touch with milk in fridge and every thing you could possibly need in the lodge. Helen and her dad were fantastic and couldn't be more helpful. It's been perfect from start to finish . Totally booking again!! Thank you. Amazing ❤️xx
Just returned from a fantastic 4 days at lodge the lodge is fantastic ,clean home from home comforts beautiful views and very quiet ,pub just at end of road lovley food and dog friendly ,nice little village Allendale where you get all your needs and nice pub gold lion .but most of all helen the owner lovley lady thanks Helen we be back soon x
Just came home after a fantastic long weekend away with lots of laughs n fun went with 5 other fiends 4 horses � and a � the weather was great Helen makes you feel very welcome would recommend this place to anyone well worth it lovely log cabin with hot tub �
Just came back from a 3 night stay at one of these beautiful lodges and already looking to book up for a few months time... Helen the owner of the cabins is lovely and was always happy to help with anything we asked , absolutely beautiful lodge with beautiful decor and furniture throughout its so warm and cosy I've never felt so relaxed and the views are breath taking watching the stars from a hot tub at night was something I won't forget, highly recommended ☺️Xxx
Just back home from 4 fantastic days at the lodge views lodge hot tub surrounding area s are amazing great walks for dogs local pub great food nice ales we will deffo return here highly recommend this place is the most peaceful place i have ever visited. thanks to Helen for a great stay
Just back from a 3 night trip to park house lodges and have nothing but praise. The lodges came recommended and after staying we can see why. From the moment you arrive Helen (owner) makes you feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The hot tubs were a dream after a day into the lakes! It's a great location for exploring Northumberland and even the Lake District. Will recommend and will definitely be back.
Had a fantastic weekend here. The owner Helen is lovely and friendly and we really appreciated the personal touches like having tea, coffee, sugar and milk left for us to settle in.The lodges were beautiful and the finishing touches were beautiful. They were also situated really well to explore local attractions like Hadrian's Wall and Aydon Castle but the best bit about it was the hot tub which we loved! I couldn't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be back - thanks Helen!
Gorgeous 3 days up here this week, can't fault the lodges or the views at all everything you could ask for in a little get away. Can't beat sitting out in the hot tub no matter what time of night it was. Helen is absolutely spot on aswell lovely women who made sure we were happy with everything as soon as we arrived! Me and abbey Will deffinatley be returning!
Fantastic stay and booked again already, cabin is immaculate and everything you need is there even the coffee and milk, all you need is your food and drink, no towels are needed as they are provided, Helen is a great host and her attention to detail is second to none scenes are beautiful, can't say enough good about this place and have already told everyone how good it is

Booked this place for my birthday for a full weekend and we all loved it! Really good laugh and the hot tubs were so hot and the cabin was spacious and cosy! Def recommend and already can’t wait to go back! Thanks again Helen!
Absolutely stunning surroundings, the cabins have everything you could possibly need, from fully stocked kitchen to the little things such and hand wash and clothes pegs!!!!took 19 month old daughter and dog and they absolutely loved it, especially being able to run around on the grass and see the sheep and horse :) Helen is lovely and very welcoming, showing us how to use the hot tub ( very nice addition!!!!)will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.
