Parklands Day Nursery - Kirkby

What an absolutely brilliant day we have had in our Pre-School today. We have been a vet, a Dr, a builder plus many more. The extended learning opportunities for the children have been exciting to watch. I am sure they will tell you all about it when you collect them.

During the half-term break, our Pre-School team have been working hard to enhance the areas across the room. We cannot wait to see the children's reactions. 😀

Here our some of our Sunflower children carrying out some Maths activities last week. They talked about shapes, sizes and variation.

Blast- Week 4.
Family sound cards, the children enjoyed listening to sounds on the CD player. They had to identify which family member was making each sound.

During Half-Term it has been lovely for some of our older children to spend time together with the younger children. Here they are creating Sensory bags and Sensory bottles together. The children had lots of fun making these and I am sure that they will enjoy playing with them too! 😀

Here are our Pre-School children completing some fantastic creative activities at Nursery today. They used a variety of materials and tools to create Jellyfish and Foxes.
