Weather wasnt very nice but thoughly enjoyed our time. Very friendly people. The cafe is really nice to. Lovely food and cakes. Especially cream egg cheesecake. Very polite and friendly staff. Thank you again and will be booking again soon.

We had a wonderful week at Parklands. The food in the restaurant was amazing, it wasn't licenced but we were allowed to take our own wine. The staff were so helpful when the back of our van fell off!! Also my attempts at getting with do. It's a shame the site is so far away. Will go back sometime.

We are staying at a local caravan site and heard good reviews about this cafe, they fit us in last minute for Afternoon Tea yesterday and it was absolutely delicious! Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Food was that good we are getting ready to go for breakfast before we go home. Will definitely be returning to stay on the site and to visit the cafe again.

User

User

Lovely light lunch to day, I say light lunch, the ham & cheese bun with salad was big enough to share, great value, can't wait for the ice cream parlour to be finished & we can sit out & enjoy the lovely scenery with a ice cream.

User

Love this little gem. Great food, friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast is a must in the cosy sun room with nice views over the lake. The family visit the cafe every month for a treat.

User

Having an enforced three month caravan "Holliday" waiting for the right house to come along during he "wrong" time of year (winter) we couldn't have spent it in better company in a great location. Andy and Sue along with their team were the perfect hosts, whilst working tirelessly, keeping the site tip top and always looking to improve and reinvest in an already great place. We don't fish but those who do absolutely love it. Thanks for everything.

User

Fabulous place.... Fabulous staff .... The food was lovely esp the lemon cake .... Tackle shop has everything you need & more....carnt wait to come back even thinking off bringing the caravan for a few days

User

Fabulous place, we started going there 2 weeks ago, my 12 year old son was interested in starting fishing, the guy in the tackle shop was very helpful and kitted us out with a very reasonable rod and reel and everything we needed to start fishing, they even came down to the fishing lake and taught him how to set up his rod and how to fish. All the fishermen were really friendly, we caught plenty of fish and have been many times since. The cafe serves fabulous food which is all home cooked and great value for money, I would highly recommend it !!!

User

Cracking spot especially if you are lucky enough to get a lake view pitch, highly recommended this site for a long break or just a couple of days, fishing is very good and the food in the cafe is excellent, Mick and Tina .

User

Been here on 2 separate occasions for afternoon tea, absolutely beautiful views service was great and the food was delicious! X

User

Been fishing here for many years it's a great place to come and much improved over the years with toilets and cafe no available as well as on site fishing tackle shop. Caravan site looks great never actually needed to use this but it is popular so definitely worth a visit

User

Been coming here off and on for years and it's always a pleasure. Super warm and friendly welcome, great value and a favourite stop off when I'm nearby. Chuffed to see the option of brown bread on my excellent beans on toast, which has to be the best around, and the mugs of tea really hit the spot too. All that for less than a fiver? Awesome
