Parks Service Events Blackpool

All the Friends Groups and the Council are working hard to bring new and exciting events to your local parks. This years events programme is coming together, there's lots happening over all of Blackpool's Parks and much more still to come.

The Friends of Solaris Park are holding their brilliant Easter Egg Hunt and Community Day at Solaris Park On Sunday 14th April 2019. Only £1.00 entry fee per child, registration from 11.00am -13.30pm. All children must be accompanied by responsible adult/parent/guardian at all times.
There is loads to do like a Raffle and tombola, Face Painting, Donkey Rides and Balloon Modelling. Clifton Girls Junior FC, B.U.G's Band and South Shore Community Choir and stalls from Blue Skies Hospital Fund, Brian House/Trinity Hospice, Blackpool Civic Trust, Streetlife, Red Box Project Blackpool, RNLI, Blackpool Carnival & Citizens Advice and so much more.

Lancastrians is a new play made using the real words of 500 people interviewed about living in Lancashire. Three actors will take you on a whistle-stop tour of the county, playing a multitude of characters in a variety of locations, creating a snapshot of Lancashire life.
... From the familiar to the extraordinary, Lancastrians captures the essence of everyday life from a diverse range of voices that fill this county.
Real words. Real stories. Real Lancashire.
Junction 8 Theatre are coming to Stanley Park Visitor Centre on Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th May to tell the story of real Lancastrians. For more information or to get your tickets visit the link below.

Do you love Birds? Yes, then get yourself down to Revoe Park on Saturday 26th January at 1pm, where the Blackpool Park Rangers will be doing there annual RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. Help the rangers identify some of the brilliant wildlife we have here in the heart of Blackpool.

The Friends of Solaris Park are holding their brilliant Christmas Fair this Sunday 10:30am - 3:30pm. Come along and enjoy the festivities there will be gift stalls, tombola, raffle, face painting, hunt for Santa’s Helpers with a lucky dip prize, balloon modelling and a special visit from the big man himself Father Christmas. 🎄✨

The Friends of Stanley Park are holding their annual Halloween festival with not just one day of fun and games but two. On Saturday 27th there will be Pumpkin carving, Fancy dress parade, Spooky games and a Ghost walk and on Sunday 28th there will be the Pumpkin competition and craft fair with raffle. This event proves its self to be one for all the family, so come on down and show us your scariest costume.
