Passive Horsemanship Hall Place Stables Description

Passive Horsemanship lessons at Hall Place stables offer a comprehensive introduction to Western riding whether you are a skilled or a novice rider. We offer our students the opportunity to learn western riding properly, on well trained western bred horses, to a level where they will feel confident in riding horses independently anywhere.
The advantage of our passive horsemanship programme lies in the natural explanation that any horse needs its rider to make a dependable communication, by simply responding quickly and passively. It is only then that a horse can come to admire its natural ability to tap into the human mentality.
The difference about learning to ride through passive horsemanship is understanding what passive represents and how it is communicated.
Most people who admire successful equitation frequently have the desire to believe such horsemanship is obtained through either an aggressive or submissive control. The reality is that such success is always maintained through a passive invitation.

A big thanks to all my pupils, and particularly to Matt who put this slide show together for me, showing my horses growing from foals to maturity in the glorious Cotswolds.

You couldn't meet a nicer group of people, who make you feel so welcome.

Nothing is to much trouble, and the knowledge is limitless due to the experience in the people around you.

I was only there with a partner at the time having riding lessons , but was made to feek like part of the family!!!!!

We had a fantastic trail ride today with Brian. Such a great experience for my husband who had never been on a horse before and me who had never rode in the western style. Absolutely loved it and would highly recommend. It's also a great way to see some outstanding beautiful views in the Cotswolds.

My friend treated me to a wonderful dude day, Brian told us loads of stories and we gained a lot of helpful information whilst feeling very welcome by his family and very well fed with an amazing breakfast, lunch at the pub and afternoon tea! Thoroughly would recommend this day, loved Western riding. Thanks Brian!

Lovely horses, excellent tuition and great trail rides. Everyone at the farm goes out of their way to make the whole thing an experience to remember. I came to Brian as a nervous novice and thanks to his patience and great teaching now ride out every week and have enjoyed 3 overseas ranch holidays. Highly recommended
