What a fabulous night out. After enjoying a cocktail at the bar we were taken to our seats. First class service, everyone was so friendly and made the evening special. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again soon to sample more from the delicious menu.

We cannot thank Katarina, Emily and all of the team at Paternoster Chop House enough. We have visited the restaurant a few times over the last few years when visiting London after seeing it on First Dates, and it was always lovely, so we decided to host our wedding reception here when we got married in London recently. Everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations - the food, the atmosphere and the staff were all fantastic and all of our guests had an excellent time. The views back to St Paul's from the outdoor terrace made it the perfect place for us to hold our afternoon event. We arranged the wedding from a distance as we don't live in London and everyone was so helpful over the phone or if we popped in on a visit to London meaning the day ran smoothly. They also treated us well when we popped by for lunch the following day before we left after the wedding. We would highly recommend for a meal or an event and we will definitely be visiting again net time we are in London.

This was a surprise for our Wedding Anniversary. My husband booked it and it was a fantastic experience!

The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food was lovely. At the end of the meal they brought us a plate of truffles decorate with “Happy Anniversary “ written in melted chocolate on the plate, a lovely touch!

The food was amazing, the staff were so attentive, made us feel really well looked after. It was a special treat for Paul’s birthday so they brought out a brownie with candle in was a truly fabulous experience ���

Superb service from Oli! Nice food! Being in the first date restaurant we somewhat expected ‘Fred’ to greet us on Entry... but we were welcomed by a polite, friendly and smiley young lady. It was very crowded, noisy, food was pricey and had to pay extra individually for mash, spinach to go with Bream, which was beautiful cooked and tasty.



Would definitely go back and try it out during a week day as you can get mains and starter for £20 with a glass of wine.

Our daughter booked us lunch yesterday as a treat as we were visiting her for the day. We had a lovely experience. Staff lovely and welcoming not too pushy. We ordered our food and l only had the soup as l wasn't very hungry my daughter ordered the pate again she wasn't very hungry and my husband ordered the lamb. I saw my soup sitting under the heat lamp with my daughters pate as well for absolutely ages while my husband's lamb was cooked. I was slightly bemused as to why pate was sat under a heat lamp. When the food turned up my soup was delicious but luke warm, husband's lamb lovely and daughters pate melted and runny. I wanted to say something but my daughter didn't want to make a fuss. Sweets were lovely but my chocolate fondant had a blob of unmelted chocolate in the middle. A glass of wine cost £7.95 which was a bit of a shock as well. We would go back and try something different off the menu but not for a while.

Me and my partner visited the restaurant on 03 August 2018 for his birthday. The experience was outstanding, as to be expected. The food was delicious and the atmosphere as a whole was wonderful. I would like to thank Northern Em especially for a fantastic visit. She truly made it for us both. She was warming and welcoming and made us feel as if we were regulars, even though she had only been there for three days and this was our first visit. Em gave us her opinion on the food and what she thought was best, and without this opinion I would have been worried to try any of these desserts.

I would highly recommend the restaurant and I would be extremely keen to visit again. Thank you so much, especially to Em, you really made this for us �

I was here for my 40th birthday last week. Great service and the menu had lots of choices. The staff are so helpful and friendly and I got a wee birthday surprise of some cake which was very unexpected. I will be back at some point.

Beautiful setting, fab food, fantastic service. They surprised me with a lovely dessert for my birthday. Going the extra mile for people definitely gets you repeat business. You can get good food in a lot of places in London but doing what you do means we will be returning in October. Thank you.

Absolutely loved the experience. Love the show and felt awesome actually being there. Thank you for our glass of bubbly for our wedding anniversary and the dessert too with the piped message. Felt so looked after, staff were great, approachable and friendly. We had our own version of 'Merlin' aka Dario. Cocktails were fab x Highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you're a big fan of the show � x

The food, drinks, service & atmosphere was all very good, the only downside was the miserable lady that booked us in, my friend was having trouble finding her booking confirmation on her phone, she told the lady her name and she simply said there’s no booking under that name, not once did she smile or try to help in anyway, so unfriendly & uninviting. Not a great way to greet new customers!

Don't have to wait to long for the food. It's not bad but it's not the best I've ever tasted . I guess the main attraction is first dates

Been there twice now so can't be to bad . Prices as always but as with anywhere in a city are in my opinion to high but yes would recommend for the bucket list ticket

Second time visiting the restaurant and the food is always amazing. The only thing that let it down this time was no air conditioning it was sweltering in the restaurant we were so hot we couldn’t fully enjoy our food as it made us even hotter eating it. I think you need to invest in some air conditioning! Our drinks were also sitting waiting for 15 mins before they arrived to us and by that time most of the ice had melted watering down my cocktail. However service was great and we had a good night

Lovely welcome great food and friendly service would definitely recommend.

Good but could be better with the timing. The gap between starter and main was too quick. Food should be savoured not rushed. Oh and my husband says get some decent knives. It’s like trying to cut meat with a butter knife. Apart from that, cocktail good, wine lush, and our Italian waitress was so lovely.

Overall the food was good but they served an uncooked starter of bone marrow to my friend twice! They did take it off the bill which we expected as both attempts were inedible. When he asked if they would comp our desserts (x3) as it disrupted our tables evening they said no they would just do his as he was rude. He wasn’t rude and was more than reasonable about the whole thing. However they did comp another larger table for desserts for no apparent reason at the same time.

Service rushed, food was ready within 10 mins which was worrying! Felt like we were being rushed out so they could seat others. My steak was lovely - shame about the other let downs. Pretty disappointed!

Not up to all the hype. I work in the City and won't be going there again. Staff certainly not as friendly or efficient as on the telly �

I ordered the cottage pie and it was the saltiest food I have ever had in my life!! When I told the waiter he took it back to the chef who then tasted it and said “it’s meant to be like that” �� really not good!!
