Based on the south coast of England Paul Slater Designer Landscapes designs and builds unique and stylish gardens for clients across Hampshire and West Sussex. Paul has always had an interest in many aspects of design and an interest in gardens (instilled by parents). He started designing gardens over ten years ago after a successful military career. After completing a Diploma in Garden Design in 2007, he took the step of launching his own full time business in 2008 and has currently designed and constructed hundreds of bespoke outside spaces (and smaller projects) for a whole range of clients, conducting most of the construction work himself. In 2015 Paul achieved accreditation for his quality of work and general business practices from the prestigious Association of Professional Landscapers – who conduct regular checks to ensure these standards are maintained.
Working closely with clients, Paul takes time to ensure the design, layout and usability of a new garden meets the clients’ needs and aspirations and that the costs to implement the agreed design are acceptable before conducting the work himself - that’s why there’s a waiting list for work!

Paul specialises in gardens that are modern, stylish and easy to look after. Working almost exclusively with natural stone and timber products and a wide range of specially selected trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants that are reliable, hardy and beautiful! Above all else, he specialises in creating a garden that is perfect for you.
