Another brain game for Reuben. This time I planted the ball higher up so he needed to activate his brain even further.
This was our third game and you can tell he’s working hard with that brain of his as he’s trying to sneak a look at where I’m hiding it 😂

This can be done with food, treats or their favourite toy. Reuben is using his nose to seek out his ball. 🎾 As a working cocker, his breed is designed to work and finding something that he loves that he has to work hard to find rather than just presenting him with it is a good challenge for him. We’re also consolidating his basic commands of sit and wait which in itself takes mental focus as he is so keen to go and find what I’m hiding from him.

Poor little Reni with his swollen mouth after a horrid wasp sting 🐝. Paula looks after our dog maddie when we go away and has done for a few years now. Maddie has quite a lot of energy and has some minor issues from being a rescue dog but Paula handles her like a pro! Not only this but Paula is so keen to learn about each dog, what they like and dislike, their personality types and so on. We feel extremely comfortable allowing Paula to stay in our house whilst we're away, she takes such good care of both the house and the dog. Paula is very approachable, understanding, caring and all round lovely person, I'd absolutely recommend her to anyone!

Paula has been an angel and saved the day by walking my daughters family dog, a 12 month old very active Cockerpoo. We were looking after him for 10 days but due to a recent back injury we weren't able to give him the long walks he needed to burn off some energy. Paula was absolutely brilliant and very accommodating with days and times. We highly recommend her service and will continue to sing her praises to anyone looking for a dog walker.
