🐶TIPS FOR GROOMING AT HOME🐶
We would like to give you some guidance on how to maintain your dogs coat during this period of isolation whilst we arnt able to.
Different breeds need different requirements. ... SMOOTH AND SHORT COATS as you can tell by there coat they are not a worry for matting but if you feel they are shedding hair we have kong zoom groom that are amazing for shedding this hair out these brushes are aimed at (pugs, bull breeds Dalmatians smooth haired pointers ect) please feel free to message us regard prices ect
WIRED COATS AND MEDIUM LENGTH dogs a groom once a week is fine depending on length especially on wired haired dog legs make sure these are brushed more often to prevent knotting a simple slicker brush will work great.
LONG CURLY AND DOUBLE COATS this is our huge worry with regards to matting Legs feet and face and tail brush daily these areas are most prone to matting and need daily attention using a slicker brush and comb
The body is less prone to matting but if you do use a harness then these areas please pay close attentionas they will be prone to matting and will need brushing daily any were else couple of days slicker first then comb
DO NOT apply too much pressure with you’re slicker as the skin may become sore. The comb must smoothly glide from the root to the end of the hair to achieve a knot-free coat!

Hope everyone is keeping well at this hard time (especially our 4 legged friends).
Due to owners having to home groom and have no groomer to help. We are considering making hampers to help you along the way at home. There will be different options available to buy. Below we will show you some examples on what we would offer.
If we do go ahead with these and we do get a lot of interest, payment would have to be taken by bank transfer. We will offer delivery for free on our 1 ...hourly day exercise. People that live afar will get them posted and there will be a postage fee.

😭Update😭 Hello everyone 💔 after listening to Boris and speaking to a grooming friend for help and advise we have made the hard decision to close our doors at Pawfect pets as from now 😭 We would of carried on working and tried our best to juggle everyone around but we feel we won't be playing our part in trying to help stop this virus spreading 💔. It's not going to be easy and we will be intouch with every one from tomorrow to re arrange app for 3weeks times. Big hugs and kisses to all our four legged friends Julie and Mel 😭❤️❤️❤️

Due to high demand of customers wanting app can I ask everyone if you don't need an app or if you wish to cancel can you let me know ASAP if you don't turn up I'm really sorry but there will be a charge. We don't know for certain if we won't close other salons around us are closing so it's very worrying knowing what to do for the best. Our plan is to update you all each day and work longer hours to try and get doggys clipped out. We are hoping to not have to close as we feel dogs will suffer from this and that is what we don't want to happen. Lot of love Julie and Mel ❤️

🌞Just a quick update 🌞 The salon is still open as normal until we are told to do so other wise. I have had information that we are still ok to keep open of PIF (pet industry federation) for your safety and ours I think the best step now is.. *Only 1 person to come into the salon with your dog if you have more than one then we are happy to help come and get them from the car with you.
*If there is a customer in the shop we will kindly ask the other customer to wait outside.
... *We will ask all customers to take leads home with them and we will just unclip the dog from its lead when it comes into the shop and pop them into the cage.

🐶Coronavirus🐶
Hi all. With the spread of Coronavirus is increasing we ask all clients if you feel unwell or have any of the symptoms in which you need to isolate yourself please don't hesitate to contact the salon to re arrange your appointment. We are open as normal for business and will carry on to do so unless told other wise. The salon is being cleaned as usual throughout the day and the end of the day before closing. We always wash our hands regularly in between grooming each dog and handling of equipment. We have hand sanitiser on the reception desk if any one needs to use this.
