Daily care for your dog whilst you are at work
We will not take any dogs which show any form of dog aggression.
More and more of us go out to work every day, but thankfully we realise that
‘home alone is no life for a dog’. At paws for a break house we ensure
that your dog has a fun time when you are unable to be at home.
If you are working all day – or just going out for the day – paws for a
break house can provide care, attention and a generally great tail-wagging time
in your absence! Most owners love walking their dogs but sometimes time
constraints during the working week means your dog doesn’t get the exercise or
company they need to keep them happy and content. With more and more people
owning dogs it is so important to have a well socialised dog that you can take
everywhere with you. It is the combination of exercise, fun and socialisation
which produces a happy well adjusted dog to live with. We take the dogs out for
a great time letting them just be dogs and have fun with other dogs whilst
having loads of exercise but under control at the same time.
Most importantly you’ll know your dog is in safe hands and isn’t bored all day,
moping around whilst they are missing you. Our many years experience have shown
us that giving your dog a routine, exercise and fun is a great way of keeping
them occupied and ultimately happy until you return home.
We treat every dog as if it is our own – and we treat every owner as if they
love their four-legged furry friend as much as we loved ours.
We understand that you need to feel certain that you are leaving your dog in
good hands, so to this end we visit every prospective member’s home to find out
about their dog and ensure that they are good at socialising with other dogs.
We do not take dog aggressive dogs so your dog will be safe with us.

We are a pet sitting and home Boarding Service, your dog is looked after in the
comfort of our family home, so providing a real alternative to kennels. We have
owned dogs for over 20 years and know how difficult it is leaving them to go out
or away.
We have a fully secure garden and patio area for your dog(s) to roam and play in
or they can put their heads down and relax indoors. In the evening they can come
and watch TV with us, if they want to!

A warm reception awaits them at our comfortable home, where your dog will stay
with us as part of the family. We provide fun, cuddles & TLC as standard
We do not use cages or kennels.

All dogs live as part of our family and are treated as if they were our own. We
ensure they receive the love and attention they so rightly deserve. Whatever
their needs we ensure they are met.

Walking - Charged at £10 per 60 minutes.
No cages or kennels used.

Dog-walking
£10 per hour (Individual)

£15 Per hour (Two dogs from same household)

£15 Puppy visit for garden play and company.

Dogs will be exercised in local parks and thybrough country park or walk round
Wath boating lake
Payable on a daily or weekly basis.
Same rates apply for weekends. However rates are doubled in respect of Bank
Holidays, Christmas and New Year period. Full details on request

Additional Information

All Dogs must be good with children and other dogs.

Food and bedding to be provided by the owner.
Should you require food to be provided for your dog an additional charge of £3
per day will be applied.
Should you require us to cook foods provided by you for your dog we will do so
at an additional cost of £1 per day
Dogs can be collected from owner at a minimum charge of £10.
All medicines provided by owner will be administered free of charge, however
should ongoing vet visits be required these will be charged at a rate of £10 per
hour or part thereof.
Shampooing can be arranged at an extra charge dependant on the size of dog.
All dogs must be brought on a lead wearing a collar.
All vaccinations including Kennel cough /worming & flea treatments must be up to
date.
All dogs to be left with an emergency contact telephone number
Drop off time 10am, earlier /later times can be arranged by prior agreement


We reserve the right to refuse any dog that we consider to be unsuitable for
boarding in the family home.
we also can provide cat feeding litter tray cleaning and feeding of small animals and fish
