Payper Cut is a Liverpool-based screen printing company which specialises in screen printing merchandise by hand. As a provider of Tshirts, record sleeves and limited edition gig posters - Payper Cut works collaboratively with many of Liverpool's upcoming musicians, artists and creative organisations sustaining independent networks and a love for hands on creativity. Payper Cut forms the in-house merch engine of Payper Tiger Records, understanding the economic needs of bands on tour and how to present artwork with well-crafted bespoke products.

The process of screen printing involves making a stencil on a tightly stretched mesh using photo-sensitive emulsion. Ink is then forced through the mesh using a squeegy blade onto a substrate such as card or fabric. As a flat medium - colours are printed one by one and so require separarte screens to be prepared for each colour. This can be a long process but serves to be a highly versatile method of printing and results in a great finish.

Payper Cut is based at No. 2 Roscoe Street, Liverpool as part of a collectively-run community arts project called The Well.
