Have an old laptop or IT equipment that you're thinking of throwing away? Get in touch and I can recycle it and also make sure your data is safely completely eradicated, without the need to hammer the hard drive and render it only good for landfill. Wiping it securely and re using it is much kinder to the planet.

Are you making a regular backup of your precious files? The hard drive is the component in your computer/laptop that stores all of your data. If it fails you've lost everything, so if you don't have a backup solution currently please get in touch about the 2 kinds of backup you can have, to prevent inconvenience and upset should the worst happen. You have been warned! :)

Do you have a webcam integrated into your PC monitor, laptop or tablet? If so, you might want to invest in a handy little sliding webcam cover so that when you are not using the webcam, you can block it. Unforunately, people are sometimes getting their webcams hacked and are therefore possibly being watched by a stranger! I know, an unpleasant thought. I can sell a marvellous little adhesive webcam cover for £9.99. I use one myself and it's nice to have peace of mind.

Did you know that Windows 7 is soon to be withdrawn from the Windows updates service, which means that it is not being recommended by Microsoft as being secure any longer for buiness use? Feel free to get in touch about upgrading your Operating System.
