Visited yesterday evening for my birthday with family. The restaurant was busy and had a fantastic atmosphere. Food was exceptional, service brilliant and we had the best of evenings. The bill even turned out to be much less than you'd expect for a place of this quality, we will definitely be back. Thank you.

Very impressed with outstanding flavour and food combinations that are not run of the mill. Everything well balanced and well presented yet without fuss. Excellent hands on hosts with knowledge, humour and warm welcomes. Great atmosphere and the building itself adds to this. Entering the restaurant feels like one is about to enter someone’s home for a dinner party, putting the diner at ease rather than creating the formality more commonly experienced with fine dining. Loved everything about this place and they walk the talk with nose to tail menus and seasonal produce. Will definitely return and make it a more regular visit if possible - it is worth the 40 min drive.

An ever changing menu of perfectly balanced dishes and extensive wine list. Very reasonable prices for wonderful food and service. Phone ahead and book - very much doubt you'll be able to walk in although lunchtimes are quieter. Try it. You will not be disappointed
