I began my professional career as a nurse, gaining experience in many of the different specialities. Since 2003 I have specialised in occupational health nursing, caring for the health and wellbeing of employees. In my work as an occupational health nurse I have noticed how the fast pace of life is taking its toll on people and how everyday challenges are making peoples work life balance much more stressful and mentally demanding.
I developed an interest in hypnotherapy when in the 1980’s as an undergraduate psychology student I suffered with exam anxiety and I was offered hypnotherapy to help me cope with the anxiety.
My qualifications are:
Registered Nurse
BA(Hons) Interdisciplinary Human Studies
MSc (Occupational Heath Psychology)
NLP Practitioner
CPPD in Clinical Hypnosis
Currently studying for the Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH)

Professional Memberships

Affiliate Member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis (BSCH) which is a national professional body that aims to promote and assure high standards in the practice of hypnotherapy. Members of the society are required to have an appropriate level of training in order to maintain good standards of practice. The society also requires every member to maintain a portfolio of ongoing professional development. What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a state which everybody has experienced at some time in their life.
