Peaceways Pet Crematorium Description

When you lose a much loved pet how you say goodbye matters so much. Peaceways pet crematorium in East Sussex provides a caring, sensitive and personal service. Set in beautiful surroundings near Lewes, Peaceways is a haven of calm, giving you the time to reflect in the Garden of Remembrance and share memories.

The beauty of Peaceways pet crematorium owes much to it's manager, Jeff Tucker, who as well as putting all the arrangements in place for you has made the Garden of Remembrance his labour of love.

Peaceways can offer the service which best suits your needs, whether it be a private cremation , where your pet’s ashes are returned to you , or a communal cremation where ashes are scattered in the Garden of Remembrance.

For private pet cremations, we offer wicker pouches containing the ashes or we can provide caskets in a range of sizes and prices. We also offer rose bushes which can be planted in your pet’s memory.

Losing a pet is incredibly distressing and often when it comes, even if half expected, its still a traumatic event. Having a plan with what to do with your beloved pet's remains in advance is important and can actually be a relief during a very distressing time.
Cremation means being able to have a choice about where you wish you beloved animal to remain in the long term. The ashes will be given to you in a container of your choice and you can decide, when you feel ready to ...do so, if you wish to scatter them, perhaps in a favorite location, bury them beneath a memorial tree or simply keep them close by in your home. Our incredibly personal and sensitive service is there for you on one of the worst days of a pet owners life. We are all animal lovers and understand how traumatic it can be. Let us take care of them in death as you did in life, with compassion, dignity and respect. http://ow.ly/D7KX30o9cJ4

The Rainbow Bridge at Raystede is a wonderful place of reflection. A place to contemplate pets that are still loved but no longer with us.The colours reflected in the water represent souls of the animals that have gone to rainbow bridge. This wonderful embodiment of love & loss signifies the animals at Raystede needing loving homes and those that are leaving this world via Peaceways having known love.

Saying goodbye to our pets is one of the hardest things to do!
We know that you shared some of the best memories with them, and you want to say a proper goodbye.
As well as our cremation service, the ashes can be scattered in our Rememberance Garden.
... Alternatively many people like to take the ashes for scattering themselves, often in a special place which their pet loved.
We can offer you a wicker pouch containing the ashes if you'd like to scatter them yourself.

None of us likes to have to say goodbye to a beloved pet.
When they go over The Rainbow Bridge, they deserve a special send off to commemorate their life with us.
We've created the Rememberance Garden at Peaceways as a beautiful space where you can say a proper goodbye, and look back fondly on the times you shared.

Most people don't realise just how intelligent dogs are. The domestic dog has been so successful at becoming a valued and in many cases indispensable member of human society, because they have learnt how to communicate with us so well. They understand our gestures, they can learn to understand lots of words for things we want them to do, how we want them to behave and to use to identify objects. Most dogs do not have their level of ability recognised by their human family and this can lead to misunderstandings, misbehaviour due to boredom, miscommunication, frustration. Check out www.dognition.com You may be living with a genius and all they ever get asked to do is “sit”!! #DogMonth
