🦶 🦶 We may dip our toes in one of our shiny new hot tubs this fine evening! It'd only be right to test them out before our next Gold Top pod guests arrive later this week. Just off to root out our cossies! 🤽‍♀️🤽‍♂️ If you're fancying a relaxing midweek break, visit our website peaksandpods.co.uk for details and availability.

👋 We’ve just said our goodbyes to our much-loved wood-fired hot tubs. They’ve been fantastic, beautiful tubs, but it’s time for a change. Our new tubs arrive today (eek!) and will be up and running before teatime. These tubs will use air source pumps to heat the water instead of wood. It’ll be better for the environment and an easier guest experience. Look out for updates later and cross your fingers for us! 🤞

🥚Gooey mini-egg brownies were waiting for our Easter guests this weekend. We hid little chocolate bunnies in the pods for the children and added special touches around the pods and The Hub. 🐣 There's one two-night stay available at Buckhaw Brow from Monday to Wedensday next week if you're looking for a last-minute getaway. It's forecast sunshine and 20 degrees! Perfect! Book online at peaksandpods.co.uk/pick-a-pod.

🥚🥚🥚 A lovely part of our job is to make each pod feel extra special through the seasons. It's almost Easter, so we've strung up our gorgeous new felted egg garlands. The garlands have been made by our very own pod fairy Harriet. 🧚‍♀️ To see her fabulous felted creations, visit Harriet's website thisfeltedhouse.com, or find her shop on etsy.com/uk/shop/ThisFeltedHouse. 💑 💍 There's something in the air! 💕 Guest Dan chose the perfect moment to pop the question to his girlfriend Rhiannon while they were toasting marshmallows and popping corn over the fire pit. We're delighted that Dan proposed during their special weekend away at Peaks and Pods. Congratulations you two and best wishes for the future! 💍🍾🥂💒

We watched the sun go down at Peaks and Pods with only a few sheep and lambs for company. Our farm's wind turbine always looks impressive in the sunset. Thankfully the good weather's going to hold for the weekend - more sunshine to come. Early spring is a such a special time of the year and we love capturing images of the changing seasons. 🐰 Easter's a fantastic time of year! We breathe a sign of relief that winter's over and that we can spend more time outside in our wellies. The holiday dates are spread out over April this year, some starting at the end of March. Our pods are the perfect place to enjoy a short break - a great base for exploring the area. Not sure where to take the children when you stay here? We've put together some suggestions for outdoor adventures. 🐰
🐣 Hop through Strid Wood at Bolton Abbe...y and keep your eyes peeled for the larger than life bunnies hiding in the trees. The Easter trail's on from April 6th to 28th and is a wonderful chance to get outdoors. 🐣 Don't visit Bolton Abbey without stopping off at Billy Bob's Parlour on the way. It's a 50s' styled American diner with amazing outdoor play adventures. 🐣 Explore the Zog trail at the nearby Gisburn Forest, the perfect place for children to stretch their legs and get outside, whatever the weather. Recharge with delicious food and bakes at The Hub cafe. 🐣 Two special sessions will run at Gisburn Forest Hub and Cafe. Join in Easter crafts on April 15th, or join the 'Slime Minister' Prof McGloop on April 25th. Learn how to make the perfect slime and the science behind it. (Both activities must be pre-booked.) 🐣 Join in one of the packed days at Thornton Hall Farm near Skipton, with activities all Easter. Ride a tractor (or unicorn!), learn about bees or watch a science show.
All our pods are fully booked over weekends in April, but there's still some midweek availability. Book online at peaksandpods.co.uk.

🦆🦆🦆 It was nice weather for ducks last weekend, but we've been so glad to catch glimpses of the sun this week. Feedback in our guestbooks after the worst of the rain at the weekend was so positive. We were relieved that guests were still able to enjoy their pod stays, despite the downpours. We're looking forward to more daylight hours with the start of British Summer Time at the end of next week and crossing our fingers for a lot more sunshine! Visit our website peaksandpods.co.uk and book to join us for a memorable stay.

Do you live for adventure, exploration and trying something new? Fancy descending 100 metres, lowered by a winch, into Gaping Gill - one of the largest underground caves in the country? It costs just £15 for the rare opportunity to descend down a waterfall that is twice the height of the Niagara Falls! This breathtaking activity is run for a short time every year in May and August and it's only a quick drive from Peaks and Pods. It's quite incredible and not to be missed - I ...know because I've done it!! 😲🙌 Find out more from Bradford and Craven pothole clubs, who are hosting the two events and offer good information and advice on their websites. May winch dates - 25th to 31st May. (We only have availability from Monday 27th to Wednesday 29th in three pods.) August winch dates - 9th to 16th August. (We still have good availability over those dates.) Book accommodation online at peaksandpods.co.uk.

💍 Our first engagement! 💖 There were a few squeals and 'oohs' and ’ahhs' over a lovely engagement ring this week. It's the first time that a couple has got engaged here and we were thrilled to bits! John surprised Christina with the ring - and not even the weather could dampen their spirits! They stayed in Corn Bents for their romantic break and celebrated with Champagne and a soak in the hot tub. We wish John and Christina the very best for their wedding and happy life together. What better way to start? 💑

💨 Our beautiful daffodils have been blown sideways this week as we’ve had some pretty nasty weather thrown at us. We’ve had wind, rain, bursts of sunshine and even a little sleet. One thing that’s been certain is how cosy our pods have been. They’re wonderfully heated, well insulated and double glazed, so a perfect hideaway no matter what’s going on outside. The pods are getting busy for the run-up to Easter but there’s still availability. Check and book online at peaksandpods.co.uk. 🐣

🌅 Sunsets and sunrises can be quite stunning from Peaks and Pods. We have an ocean of sky around us from our elevated position on the farm and we can't get enough of the endless views. (You'll often find us leaning on the fence with a cup of tea and a chocolate digestive!) This week we've been especially lucky to witness the most stunning skies. These images were taken at dusk - the wind turbine looked amazing. Share it with us by booking online at peaksandpods.co.uk.

✨ Fairy lights, fire pit and a starlit sky help to create a lovely atmosphere in our social space. ✨ It's the perfect place for families and groups to gather - we've been spending quite a lot of time there ourselves with visiting family this last week and just loved it. It's felt like we've been on holiday too! Find out more about The Hub at peaksandpods.co.uk/the-hub.

Wow! Where do I start! From the moment of arriving at Peaks & Pods I felt right at home! The pod was warm, the hot tub was prelit & the homely treats we were greeted with in our pod were just lovely! A handwritten note & home baked cake just topped it all off! John & Joanne we’re such lovely hosts & I can’t sparkly highly enough of them, Nothing was too much trouble for them, Even when we did blew the electric’s In our pod! Ooopss! On our departure we’d had quite a lot of snow, John offered to follow us in his car to ensure we got into the next village safely, How lovely! Thank you so much & we will definately be returning! Kind Regards Emily & Ryan! Xx

User

What a fantastic place to stay! Amazing views across stunning countryside, friendly chickens come to say hello and then there is the pod - a home from home, made even more special by the little personal touches such as a delicious lemon cake, hot chocolate and marshmallows, breakfast hampers and delicious pizza cooked in the outdoor oven. Can’t recommend it enough and we will definitely be back!

User

We had been thinking about trying a pod or glamping for a while and I'm so glad we did, Peaks and Pods was a fabulous experience. The pod was so cosy and every detail has been considered. All creature comforts thought about. The outdoor area was a brilliant idea and I highly recommend using the oven there. There is a lot to do in the area we visited the forest which was lovely. Even in October, we felt snug and away from it all. We had our 5 year old with us and he is still talking about the pod. Joanne and family were very welcoming and she even managed to post my walking boots after I forgot them - so kind! Can't wait to return. I highly recommend a visit, magical.

User

We came to stay at Peaks and Pods almost as a last minute trip and we are so very glad we did. As soon as we arrived and opened the door to our pod (Two Acre Bit) we knew we were going to be back! Joanne and John have really thought of everything! We came into the Pod and it was immaculate we had a standard poke around (opening the cupboards and being generally nosey) and found that everything was just as had been described, a fully kitted out kitchen, supplies to keep the place clean, we were even able to make some lovely meals with what we had in the kitchen. Joanne (I assume) had even made a lovely Lemon Cake for us to enjoy on our stay. The bed was so comfortable best we have slept in at any campsite, the additon of the TV/DVD player was wonderful (who doesn't want to put their feet up and watch Harry Potter after a long days walk). The bathroom (which was private to our pod alone) was very well presented and lacked for nothing that you would ever need even for an extended stay. The view over the fields was incredible and sitting on the decking eating our breakfast was a real treat. Overall I can guarantee that all the reviews are well earned and we will be back to stay as soon as we can! Thank you to Joanne and John for a truly wonderful stay we cant wait to be back.

User

This was just PERFECT!!!! We had a two night stay at the pods and have loved every minute of it. The pods themselves are so well equipped and tastefully done. The minor details, such as the lemon drizzle cake in our welcome pack is what made the whole experience so enjoyable!! The hosts, Joanne and John were so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The pods are located in a beautiful spot and when we came back from our days out (malham and settle) it was so nice to sit back and enjoy the panoramic views.

Thank you and we will definitely be back!!!!

User

My husband and stayed at a Two Acre Bit for 2 nights this July for a birthday treat. I’m already recommending Peaks & Pods to friends. Everything was spot on. The pods were very well maintained and looked after. The bathrooms were immaculate. And the views... were incredible. We used our fire pit to BBQ both of the nights we stayed. We visited Malham during our stay and venture to the Gisburn Forest also. Joanne was incredibly helpful and you can see that her and her husband John put their heart and soul into creating something very special. If you’re on the shelf about booking - do it. You will not regret it.

User

My friend and I stayed at Peaks and Pods for two nights, in the Holly Bush Hill pod. The stay was everything we expected and much, much more. From start to end, the experience was perfect. On arrival, we were greeted by a freshly made lemon drizzle cake and a postcard to welcome us - these little touches were what made the stay so special. The views are not only beautifully picturesque, but the position of the pods has been so carefully thought out, that every guest makes the most of the views they’re provided with. The pod was left immaculate and each morning, the owners provided us with additional logs for the hot tub. All of the facilities were immaculately cleaned and the extra touches, once again, like traditional board games and marshmallows to toast on your own fire pit made the experience one to remember. Joanne and John have both thought of every possibility to ensure the stay ran smoothly and I would highly recommend to anybody. The pictures really do not do it justice!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday from 30/04-03/05. He chose corn bents pod which was amazing ! We had a lovely welcoming of a fresh made lemon cake waiting for us , along with a few surprises my boyfriend paid extra for which was the bottle of prosecco, cute fairy lights and a breakfast hamper . Everything in this pod was perfect , so warm and cosy inside and the hot tub was amazing . Everything was clean and spotless , the bed and sofa was very comfy! Although the hot tub took time to warm up with a fire burning logs it was worth with the wait and the view ! We had no issues and everything was amazing . We had to contact John a few times - (who is the owner) in regards to setting the hot tub up and he was with us within 5 minutes each time , John was very friendly and welcoming and always offering a helping hand at any time . Would highly recommend and I will certainly be back again to revisit !

User

Just got home from a wonderful few days away for our “mini-moon”. We stayed in the Corn Bents with a luxury upgrade and oh my goodness what a perfect little place this is! Such lovely attention to detail-arrived to a gorgeous fresh lemon cake. This gave the place such a homely feel and was such a great welcome. We also had chocolates, fizz, hot tub pre heated, treats to make s’mores & the most delicious fresh local produce for breakfast! I absolutely loved my morning coffee on the decking with the hens! And those views! Wow wow wow! Thank-you so much Joanne & John you certainly helped us with our post wedding blues & we can’t wait to visit again! X

User

Just finishing our second night here, its fabulous. Superb pods, great hub, amazing views and so peaceful. Breakfast delivery was top notch and Joanne is so welcoming . we will certainly be back as its been a super experience for our little four year old boy.

He got so excited when there was connect four and buckaroo in the hub . totally recommend and what nicer than BBQ tea watching deer graze in the fields opposite .

User

Just came back from a fab Easter break in the pods. We stayed in the two acre bit pod and absolutely loved it. We've stayed in pods before elsewhere but never to such a high standard. The interior was really clean and well finished, the beds were really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The farm itself was lovely and what a view to wake up to! Even with the weather the kids had a lovely time and we even managed to enjoy the pizza oven and fire pit. We'll definitely be booking again soon! X

User

Just back from our stay, I booked for my little girls 7th birthday with two of her friends and they have enjoyed every second! It has been the most stress free birthday ever!

There's so much attention to detail, the pizza I've is a must! There is everything you need to hand to enjoy your stay, it's just fab. We live only 15mins away but we are already planning our next stay! Thank you for a lovely experience

User

I arranged a last minute stay at Peaks and Pods for myself and husband and had a wonderful stay. We were a little worried because the only pod available didn't have the bathroom in and we would find it inconvenient. We needn't have worried! It was so close, and warm, clean and inviting - in fact the short trip by lantern light added to the fun! The pods were so amazing we are now in the process of booking all of them to celebrate a special birthday with family and friends next year, and have no doubt they will enjoy it just as much. (Although think we'll be back before then!) Thank you for all the special little touches!

For our wedding anniversary we cycled over to peaks and pods and stayed in corn bents.

For cyclists this place is fantastic, we enjoyed miles of beautiful countryside on quiet roads. On site they have every facility you could need, and also have bonus extras including great homemade food delivered in the evenings, which we found invaluable after cycling all day.

I don't think I could rate this place high enough. The pods are amazing but It's the care and attention to detail the owners give that we found particularly pleasing.

Huge thank you from us and we'll definitely be returning.

User

Definitely surpassed all our expectations. Thanks for the hospitality over the bank holiday weekend... and the delicious lemon cake! Hope to get the Jacuzzi pods next time!

THE best campsite we've ever been to. Glamping at its finest!

User

Absolutely stunning place, everything you need is right here, so peaceful & amazing views. We were lucky enough to book the pod with the hot tub which made our stay. Joanne is really friendly & cant do enough to help & you can tell how much she loves the place with the little touches that have been added. Would recommend & book again!

Thank you for a wonderful stay, such lovely hosts and a beautiful place to stay, the pod had all we needed and much more the cake was a delight on the patio with a cuppa and the fire pit cannot wait to return.

User
