Scraping the barrel, final mince pies of 2018 made! I stopped counting beyond 2000, it’s been a challenge but these babes are worth it!

When the 200 cookies you’ve made for an order mysteriously turn to rubble when you pick them up.,,,.bakers any ideas??? They are a sugar biscuit mix so not particularly short, and in there previous life sturdy!! Temperature drop??? Needless to say the doors will be closed this morning whilst I try and peddle to catch up ( if you are coming to collect an order I will still be here )

When you get beautiful handmade thank you cards it’s a pretty ace start to the day.Just the shot in the arm that is needed in what has been the craziest run up to Christmas since I began 6 years ago.

It is so dreary out this morning, but we are here for your festive food needs! There are a few puds left (as seen here) boxes of biscotti and homemade jams, and last night I made waaaay too much mulled cider, so grab a glass of that on the house with every mince pie purchase (until it’s gone, I didn’t make that much!) I’m pulling a late one tonight so here until 6.30

And the mince pies keep coming.....available until December 22nd, or until all the mincemeat has gone!

We are having a little party at the shop this evening so have slightly shorter opening hours today open 12-3, mince pies,Christmas puds, and lots of edible giftyness on the counter. If you are in Chandos Rd between 6-8 pop in and say hi! ( I promise there won’t be any bananas wrapped in sardines)

Hello folks! I will be at this tomorrow, and I’m taking all the Christmas puds with me that haven’t been pre ordered, so if you want one for the big day, shout or come along ! I will also be selling cake by the slice, jams and edible gifts.
