Won't price match on parts to that of Evans or Halfords? Brave move cobsering the pressures on local bike shops these days. But to expect consumers to pay twice the price... no thank you Pearsons I will take my business elsewhere.

my dad bought me a Viking Conquest in Pearson's probably in 1962. I was so proud of it. So pleased to see the shop thrives. I loved that bike and joined a club and even did some time trials on it.

A shop of some of loveliest and supportive people ever. This independent business is a gem. I got into a bike accident around the area and went straight to their shop to get my bike sorted, turns out I was actually mildly concussed and they road it out with me until the ambulance arrived. Even though it felt like everything was going wrong they brought so much warmth and peace of mind. Also Jim is hilarious! Thanks again guys honestly

My brother had his bike serviced with new Rear derailleur, chain and rear free bike changed for new. While ride the bike after only a few weeks after the new derailluer failed cause by brother to come of the bike injuring his arm and was lucky it was more serious. On taking the bike back to the shop to query the parts they just bend the derailluer back into place saying that he would have to pay again if he wanted the bike fixed properly and they would even investigate the fault. Worst customer service considering he is a firefighter and the injuries could have put him out work, terrible workman and will never go back

Fantastic service, helpful, friendly, superb advice. As a female cyclist there was no macho or patronising attitude here, just good, bespoke advice. I bought a new bike (upgraded my entry level bike) and had a bike fit to ensure the bike is set up and right for me. The Pearson's own range of bikes are excellent value and look fab too. Highly recommend you visit.

Bought my first carbon fibre bike, brilliant service and advise for me as I am a student, supported me with a bike fit, and the workshop is brilliant, quick and reliable service without the need to squeeze every penny out of my wallet, staff are friendly and realistic, will be returning
