Pecan

Pecan is a community charity based in Peckham, transforming lives through Kindness, Belief and Hope. We work with the most vulnerable people in the Peckham community – including ex-offenders and their families, people living with mental health issues and the long-term unemployed. We never stop believing that all people can achieve their God-given potential. And our work prompts transformation across the community. We see those we work with as people who need supporting – not problems which need solving. We believe in unlocking people's own potential. Which is why our projects address all the needs of our participants – social, material, emotional and spiritual. We partner with local churches and advocate for those we work with, challenging inequality and injustice at a local and national level.
