We first met Chidera back in April last year when Peckham Levels was nothing more than a building site and a rumour. Chidera, along with Peckham Levels members GUAP created the documentary "Is Peckham Levels For Us?" (available on YouTube).
Now, less than a year later, here we are, hosting the global sensation 'The Slumflower'.
On Peckham Levels:
... "This place wasn't being used at all, there are so many creative spaces and they prioritise people who live in the area. It has created jobs and opportunities for people. Also, it's given Peckham an extra exciting touch, which I think will only continue to grow over time."
Read her full interview with VICE now and watch this space, as we've got some very exciting collaborations in the pipeline.

Join Hilary Cottam in a conversation about her new book Radical Help here at Peckham Levels tonight from 7pm. In the book Hilary argues that our welfare arrangements - our health services, employment services, the care we offer to the young and the old -are no longer fit for purpose. She sets out an alternative vision - one that could take care of everyone from cradle to grave and enable all of us to flourish.
Joining her tonight Peckham Levels members WEST Wine Kitchen who will be offering free tastings of their natural wine and The Lit Race, a podcast about how 2 average 'bruddas' take on the challenge of reading 52 books a year..

Proud to be up there with some real greats and our neighbours Frank's Cafe Bold Tendencies
"There are a range of traders who’ll happily sell you a beer at Peckham Levels’ street food market, but the centrepiece is the zhushy cocktail counter Near & Far Bar, who also have a massive glitter ball. A short, punchy cocktail from their menu will set you back about £8; alternatively, try organic wines from WEST Wine Kitchen or have a dance at one of the free gigs at Ghost Notes."
Don't forget happy hour though, daily! Cocktails for a fiver at Near & Far

"The proprietors promise to dispel hangovers via their gentle-on-the-gut ayuverdic kitchari, while the best-selling turmeric-poached Turkish egg dish boasts baked labneh and Mexican pasilla chilli broth. Scoff either, feel better, crack into the natural wine list. And start again."
Thanks to Eater for stopping by and naming WEST Wine Kitchen one of the top brunch spots in the city - featured alongside some true greats! Monty's Deli Chiltern Firehouse Morito Hackney Road and our neighbours Coal Rooms

A huge thanks for the kind words Time Out London and a huge well done to the team at our much-loved WILDFLOWER
Time to make that booking, before the rest of London does!! http://wildflowerpeckham.uk/
... "Essentially, everything at Wildflower is pitched just right. The menu is interesting without being esoteric, the atmosphere is buzzy but comfortable (evidenced by a mixed and happy crowd, including families with children on a Saturday night), and the service was excellent. Pay it a visit and remind yourself how damn delicious vegetables can be in the right hands."

This is the greatest place on earth.

Atmosphere is really friendly and fun, there are kids running around and enjoying themselves and adults drinking, eating and loving life.

The food stalls are great quality and super friendly.

For some reason I was expecting to be cold because, well, it’s in a car park... but it’s cosy and snug!

And it all looks absolutely stunning.

I would give Peckham Levels 6 out of 5 stars if I could.

User

Slightly biased, but we've got a damn good thing here!! Come and see for yourselves. So much to do, see, hear, eat, drink for everyone.

User

Literally next level! What a great idea and great vibe

User

Great food, great vibe, great to see something supporting local businesses in Peckham.

User

Excellent food and drink in an amazing setting with great views. Feels like it really represents old and new Peckham, it feels real and not try hard. The team behind the project have done an amazing job at supporting so many local businesses and individuals. Much better than Franks bar for a night out.

User

Brilliant atmosphere and a fun place to go for leisure, play and learn stuff

User

Awesome DJs, great cocktails!

User

An innovative use of a former multi-storey car park, the spaces created have huge potential and flexibility. From bar areas with infividual styles and atmosphere (we had cocktails and beers in a tropical setting) to play and performance areas, I can see a vibrant future ... now where’s that ticket machine!

User

A very needed place in Peckham where artists and creative people can meet and work together. Kudos!

User

Had some delicious vegetarian food, staff very friendly, space wasn't too crowded and my dog was welcome.

User

Cool place,helpful staff,good D.J.

I went yesterday. the bar was ok Service was fast. WINE area was also excellent.

NOW went to get a cocktail and that was very disappointed. Bar staff took my order and then said one minute . So i waited . Then he started to make another cocktail as if it mine . He said what did I order. And his manager will serve me. So I waited . And gave up.

So cocktail.

Next I tried the food, pizza that was excellent .

Then tried the burgers can't fault that, excellent

Then tried the duck with chip. . Would not recommend this as it was very grease and was not nice .

Then to end of the night your clothes would smell of all greasey food been cook. Had to go and wash my whole body and clothes

Would say need to look at vents to suck up the smell.

If you don't mind smell of grease food when you leave then go and have a look. But be warned you don't realise this happen until you get home.

Won't be returning anytime soon.
