What amazing place this is, the service is second to none, the afternoon teas are excellent, the best by far. if you have dietry requirments not a problem was catered for superbly, feeling confident about what I was eating. would highly recommend this place not just for afternoon tea they also have a wonderful dining menu which I was told they could easly provide as needing a gluten free diet. shall be returning very soon. in my opinion most definatly a five star rating

What a Wonderful start to Christmas � Thank you Pecks For Outstanding food and Service from start to finish!! We were a party of 14 with ages from 17 to 88 and every single person enjoyed all the courses they had! Absolutely Gorgeous ! Went yesterday evening (Thursday) for the first time. The food and whole experience was fantastic. 100% recommend to everyone, we’ll definitely be back

We had a birthday afternoon tea there yesterday, it was amazing, service was excellent & food delicious.

Our first visit with friends and we we’re extremely impressed!!! The food was faultless. Well presented, very very tasty, great quality and very fair portion sizes for the price you pay!! There was more than just a “taste” to your plate to say the least.

My first visit here last night all I can say is I was in Food Heaven!!! Great service and ambience those moaning about prices should stick to cheap pub grub this was amazing quality restaurant food at its best! Worth every penny! Oh and deserts are amazing my favourite is the rum n raisin cheesecake!

It's a few years since I've been to Pecks and having gone I have realised just how much I missed it. Fab food, fab wine and a totally fab evening. Will be going again in the new year.

It was Our first visit to Pecks last night to celebrate our friends birthday, what a beautiful relaxing place! Waiting staff are attentive and professional, even though we made them giggle a little! Food was amazing, presentation and portion sizes were perfect. My glass was never empty- and trust me the lovely waiter had her work cut out with me! Beautiful friendly place that we would love to come back to for our next treat.

I asked Pecks if they would be able to accommodate a special 50 minute event as part of my husbands overall surprise birthday evening. And wow did they deliver. The main event took place at another venue but I wanted to surprise him and a small group of close family/friends to pre-party ‘bubbles’ at Pecks - and they stopped at nothing to accommodate; private room upstairs for us, roped off red carpet, personal waiter service, dressed room and music. And all for less then an hour with them. It was perfect and really helped set the tone for the rest of our evening. Thank you so much for helping to make our evening so great!

Had lunch yesterday the food and the service was first class or you could say 5 star. The experience was a good one. This is our second time at Pecks and we will definitely be returning.

Had an amazing evening , in a lovely comfortable setting , was a Christmas present off my lovely daughters , can’t thank them enough for it , thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our evening �

Come for lunch last Tuesday with my husband and parents. We had informed the restaurant that I was dairy intolerance. I’m always a little worried when eating out that there won’t be anything I can eat. The menu was beautiful and I was able to eat anything I wanted as the food is freshly cooked and to order.

Absolutely lovely Food. Tasting Menu but with a choice at nearly every course. The portion sizes do not represent a Tasting menu. They are far more satisfying so for big appetites this place is heaven. The deserts are to die for and you get a couple. The staff are so attentive and polite. I am generally hard to please but this place ticked all the boxes for me. Absolutely outstanding. I will definitely be returning.

Absolute luxurious excellence. My partner and I are both vegan and they were happy to fully cater for us, and were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Every member of staff we dealt with were TOP notch :) Easily the best place to eat in the local area and I couldn't be happier to give them my money!

A wonderful pre Christmas Christmas lunch. We all took the roast turkey as we aren't having it for Christmas, and it was delicious. Very busy but service was excellent, would recommend.

A fantastic restaurant with superb food and outstanding service! Nothing is too much trouble...... the catering for dietary requirements (gluten, dairy & wheat free) is creative and absolutely outstanding.

We visited last night and had a lovely time, the staff are so polite and attentive, the food was all yummy and hot, the atmosphere was nice and relaxing and we really enjoyed it. One thing we noticed was there didn't seem to be as many choices for the courses as there used to be, especially the desserts, I remember losing track of them all in previous years. Everything was presented to us well though and the staff really do go above and beyond to make it a lovely experience . I got home to find they had not only chopped my cake up as I has asked but each piece was individually wrapped ready to give to people. It's those special touches that make pecks stand out from other restaurants. Thanks for a great night !

We dined here last weekend and had the 7 course taster menu. Beautiful food, however we were full before our mains come. Its an intense environment, I easily felt uneasy and out of place. I'd advise going on a 24 hour before attempting to dine at Pecks, the portions are huge and each course has a 20 min gap between. We left at 11pm and were one of the first tables to vacate.

Had the gentleman's afternoon tea,excellent tasting food, lovely service and comfortable, relaxing setting, will certainly go again.
