Get your bike booked in for it's Autumn service with Sprung Bike Workshop #Autumn #MTB #FOD #Pedalabikeaway

User

We hired a bike and a Tramper on Sunday and have to say the service we received was second to non. Chris was especially helpful from my initial enquiry to helping with the booking and advising us on the best trails to go on. All the staff were very friendly and informative. We will definitely be back to hire the Tramper again.

User

Very nice and helpful staff! The bike I got was in top condition, and they set up the fork and shock for me. very enjoyable experience :)

User

This is my local cycle centre and the customer service in the cafe and the workshop is always second to none. They can never do enough for you! The trails are fantastic for all levels of riders and all types of bikes. A cycle centre ran by bike people for bike people!

User

The centre is a great place to go irrespective of your riding ability. It's great for family's, cross country mountain bikers to your hardened down hill'ers. The development that has gone on over the last 4 years is top class. The centre is also a superb facility with good food, drink, shop & maintenance facilities. Hence why I'm there every weekend!!

Sick place. Great food. Great staff. Great uplift. Been 10+ times now in lawt 18months. Changed loads in that time. Raced dh aswell. Fav place in the uk. Easy to get to always a blast. Sick now even longer lines. Close to good hotels and motels and campsites. Coming back 3 or 4 times more this summer for sure!! With the lads.

User

Never disappointed with this place, good place for all rider levels. Loving the new drop and table top practice track as well! 😄👍 could do with some cheaper deals in the bike shop though.....😉

I spent the morning on FOD Flow course with instructor Matt and he was outstanding. We spent time going through techniques to help us ride red trails with more confidence, the coaching and encouragement was brilliant and the support of slow motion video made it easy to see were we needed to improve. Trails were in great condition and Matt's local knowledge meant we spent our time on the right sections of trail for what we were practicing. I have been riding red trails for a couple of years but will now be able to ride them more confidently and smoother.

User

Great place. Excellent trails. There need to be a few more 'intermediate trails', something between the 'Family Trail' and the 'Verderer's' and 'Freeminer's' trails.

Cafe is excellent and all the support facilities, bike shop, workshop, bike hire and Sprung Suspension workshop are great.

User

Great place brilliant trails excellent staff and very friendly

User

Friendly staff and a great vibe. Really great place to sit, eat cake and drink coffee whilst your bike is being repaired/serviced by the expert mechanics on site. Then off out to the amazing riding there is available

User

Fantastic way to spend the day no matter what age you are. There are trails for everyone from the family trail for the little ones to the blue, red and orange routes for the more adventurous. To top it all off, the cafe does amazing food and the best cup of tea for miles :-)

User

Fantastic facilities, and great customer service. We came as a group being assessed as trail leaders with an external instructor. We were made very welcome and were given lots of local knowledge. The parsnip soup was amazing!! Thank you to all your team.

User

Brilliant experience with the electric mountain bike. Highly recommended if your a Granny like me.

User

A great day riding using the uplift service. 10/10 to all staff, the guy in the bike workshop couldn't have been more helpful. Only reason for the 4 stars is I thought the cafe had gone downhill particularly the outdoor one. It's always been awesome but yesterday it was absolutely awful, not the service, just the food.

User

It's a great setup here unfortunately it's let down by the bad customer service from the younger kids. The jet wash hasn't done a great job and so I asked if I could use the pressure washer which I have used before where you rent the bikes, the young kid working was very abrupt and did me no favours saying I've got to wash all these hire bikes which is fair enough but a little bit of customer service wouldn't go a miss, not their fault and I guess it's not a place where you would expect customer service training as such, I have experienced some rudeness here before but apart from that it's a great place to go biking!

User

Very ill advised on the bike hire. Warning premium bikes require £500 deposit which isnt told to you untill you have allready booked your bike. And you receive your confirmation email. Also was told that the refund would be immediately put back on my card and ran out of fuel in my car on the way home cause card got declined at pump as the money hadnt gone straight back to my account. Which led to a very disappointing stressful day worse day out for a while. Sort it out

User

Very disappointed. We booked our bikes and child seats the night before online and paid for them. Naively, I thought our bikes would be ready for when we had booked them for. Instead we had to watch the employees cycle round on our bikes for half an hour, pleased they are being checked but eating in to our time to use them. Then they told us that the child seats we had booked and paid for had all been given to other people. They ‘upgraded’ us to a trailer instead, although despite their timely ‘safety’ checks the trailer came off 10 minutes into our bike ride. Fortunately, we weren’t going very fast or this could have been disastrous for our young children. The tyres on two of bikes were also low and we had to ask for them to be pumped up properly. None of the employees seemed to know what they were doing and it was extremely disorganised. It was also strange that we weren’t provided with helmets...I thought this would be standard to cover health and safety? The toilet facilities are poor and not thought through as the baby changing is in the showers so we had to wait over 20 minutes while someone had a shower in order to change one of our children out of a soiled nappy. Definitely not a family friendly day out, I wouldn’t spend my money there again.

User

Very disappointed. Lovely experience and enjoyed the afternoon BUT PLEASE BE AWARE they took a large deposit and 5 days later this deposit still has not been returned.
