We provide the very highest standards of care and education for children in a home from home environment
Peek-A-Boo Daycare Tameside Description
We spend our days playing, learning, and exploring. We offer age appropriate toys and activities to allow your child to explore their creative side. We have weekly themes to help your child discover their love of learning.
Offering both indoor and outdoor playtime each day; arts and crafts, daily story time and music appreciation in a smoke free home environment. There's a play yard at the back of the house for children to play and a large decking area to the front. The garden is fully enclosed with no possible escape. We are situated 5 mins walk from a beautiful local park, Gorse Hall School and St. Peter's School.
We have a range of indoor and outdoor equipment; such as water area, books, board games, Leap Frog activity ring and other assorted age related resources for ages ranging from young babies to 14 years. We regularly take the children to local parks - dependent on the weather - and to organised playgroups museums and fun days out.
We use Babys Days as an way for parents to see their child's daily progress through a completely secure personalised login and page updating you weekly on your child's development.
We have all the relevant qualifications:
EYFS safeguarding children
First Aid Paediatric
Ofsted registered child-minding course level 3
French teaching qualification. (I speak fluent french)
IT Skills

Had a explorative day surrounded by beautiful nature whilst doing The Stick Man Trail at Hulme Community Garden Centre!
An amazing place, full of upcycled activities for the kids to enjoy. We saw how compost is made, how we recycle instead of binning reusable materials and enjoyed the taste of freshly grown strawberries ¤Źō
Finished the day with a play at Debdale Park!

Our schoolies had an epic day out monkeying around at the adventurous Astley Park!
Definitely for kids aged 4 and over; but if you ever make the journey youŌĆÖll have a grand time! We laughed, we overcame our fears and we had the best day journeying through all the different zones... each one a different challenge! Ending the day at the super cute animal corner ¤ÉŁ¤É░¤ÉĖ¤Éö¤Éī¤Éó

We can highly recommend the Gnome Roam at Newmillerdam! Such a fun day out in absolutely beautiful surroundings ŌśĆ’ĖŤī▓
We found all the Gnomes & completed the Bear Hunt to find the big brown bear in the forest ¤É╗ We learned about different types of trees, had to count the various animals we saw and used our team building skills to make an epic den! Fab way to end our busy February Half Term!! ŌØż’ĖŤ¦Ī¤Æø¤ÆܤÆÖ

Yesterday we made a trip to the amazing Reaseheath Zoo & animal management centre! Not your average Zoo; itŌĆÖs part of Reaseheath College and the animals are cared for by a plethora of wonderful students studying to become veterinarians, zookeepers and agricultural engineers.
Home to 170 species of animals- including a snake necked turtle, an amazing looking lion fish and some very cute cotton top tamarind monkeys!

Yesterday keeping with our World Book Celebration theme ¤ōĢ¤ōŚ we went looking for Dinosaurs to find out if they really do love underpants! ¤”Ģ¤”¢
We didnŌĆÖt know what their favourite colour, decoration or style of pants was so we made a sample for all of them to try!!
We also rode on the Metrolink, first time for some which gave for great excitement! I wonder what book weŌĆÖll be exploring on our adventures today?! ¤öÄ

Today we headed for Wakefield to the Room on the Broom Trail ¤¦╣
We found all the WitchŌĆÖs buddies; ... The cat ¤É▒ The very tall hat ¤Ä® The dog ¤ÉČ The bow from her long ginger plait ¤ÄĆ The green bird ¤”£ The wand ¤¦Ö¤Å╗ŌĆŹŌÖĆ’ĖÅ The frog ¤ÉĖ and even the dragon ¤É▓!!!!!
After the 2 mile trek (youŌĆÖre welcome parents ¤ś┤¤ś┤) we had fun at the park then tapped on our gearstick aaaaand WHOOSH WE WERE GONE!

So during Circle Time this morning, Harrison wanted to tell us a story about a homeless man he met outside the supermarket. This man had no home, no food & was very cold. So Harrison and his mum gave him money for a cup of tea ŌĆ£so he could get warmŌĆØ, we were told. The other children said that they had seen similar people sitting outside their local shop too and we said ŌĆ£ItŌĆÖs very sad, youŌĆÖre very lucky to have lovely warm houses and food to eatŌĆØ. And so the conversation moved... on...
We have a birthday today at PABHQ (usually at least once a month!) So we were talking about the party & disco later on. Our little Peek-A-BooŌĆÖers then stopped the party planning and talk returned to the homeless people theyŌĆÖd seen and wanted to know if they would ever have a birthday party ¤śó
We explained that some people are less fortunate and without othersŌĆÖ help & generosity, they would struggle to have a birthday party or eat at all somedays. So we all made a pledge together that once a month, we will do a little shop at Morrisons and bring it to Tameside East Foodbank so that in their precious little minds any less fortunate families will be included in our birthday celebrations too!

We had the COOLEST day out today! (literally!) ŌØä’ĖÅŌØä’ĖÅŌØä’ĖÅ
We visited The Ice Village and saw all the amazing ice sculptures; including Father Christmas & Rudolph, The Polar Express Train, lots of icy animals and a huge snow yeti!! We warmed up at the Manchester Christmas Market with a yummy hot chocolate treat ŌśĢ’ĖÅ ¤Ź½
Then we had a ride on the Tram to the other side of town (very exciting first ride for some Mini Peek-A-BooŌĆÖers!) and saw the massive Father Christmas at the Town Hall...!
