Evening all 🙂 I’ve been thinking about how to help anyone who needs it and a friend and fellow groomer has put together these videos so seeing as how I hate being in front of the camera I thought they may be useful for you. Please please please use bull nose round ended scissors (the type of children’s nail scissors are perfect ) or thinning scissors if you have any for around the eyes. Any questions please just ask x

Well it’s the end of the first day of no business running, and I wanted to say a massive big thank you to my lovely customers who have sent me amazing messages and texts, it really means so much to me. To be honest today has been spent mainly getting my head around everything and getting used to not being able to do anything - I’m not one to sit about ! Tomorrow will be a new day so getting my accounts done early for once then a major deep clean of the groom room will begin - before operation decorate ! ** PEGGYS PAWS CLOSURE ** It is with a heavy heart but after the announcement this evening it has been made very clear that Peggy’s Paws will need to temporarily close its doors this evening with immediate effect. I take the health of myself, my family and my wonderful clients seriously and the government orders this evening were very clear. I feel this is the only option to take to fight this virus. I was desperately trying to stay open at least until Saturday and I have not... made this decision lightly, in fact the decision was taken from me this evening. I will be back open as soon as possible - this is temporary, and we will get through this. I would like to thank every single one of you for being loyal customers and for supporting Peggy’s paws. I will still be here online if anyone needs any advice on brushing or combing or anything grooming related. Please please everyone stay safe and well and I look forward to seeing you all on the other side Love to you all xx

🦠 🦠 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 🦠 🦠
I am still currently open and grooming however it’s difficult times for everyone at the moment and I am assessing the situation as it changes daily.
Please don’t feel obliged to come to your appointment- if you are self isolating or not comfortable with leaving the house then please just let me know, it’s really not a problem to cancel for a while and I fully understand.
... Please can we continue to handover at the second gate, social distancing needs to be observed for everyone’s safety.
If possible payment by card or bank transfer please, the less handling of cash the better. I have a card machine and am wiping this down with every use. I can bring this to the gate.
I’m afraid anyone who would normally stay for their dog then I will need to cancel those grooms for a while, due to social distancing.
I hope everyone understands why these measures are in place.
Currently I am open and grooming, however as mentioned above I am reviewing this on a daily basis. There have been suggestions that non essential business may have to close in the near future, in which case I’m afraid I will have to shut my doors.
It’s scary times for everyone like nothing we’ve ever seen before, to all of my customers please stay safe and take care of yourselves xx

How could I forget I took pictures of the gorgeous Ria today too 😍😍

This week had been pretty surreal and a bit like something from a film. However, life at Peggy’s paws has been carrying on (until they tell us otherwise) and a big thank you for everyone who was social distancing 😷😊 It’s been busier than usual - even working days off to try and accommodate everyone and fit in everyone who wanted to bring forward their appointments. I’m afraid this hasn’t left much time for photos !! I did a before and after if the stunning Jasper today ( well his head anyway), I hope it makes you all smile 😊😊 Stay safe everyone in these crazy times, and at Peggy’s paws we’ll endeavour to stay open for you all (at a distance) until a lockdown is announced xx

I know this isn’t grooming related, so apologies, but any of my friends on the Vinters estate (I know there’s lots of you on here) fancy doing this for the younger kids next week that are off school ?? Thought it was a lovely idea 😊

To all my lovely clients that have appointments over the next few weeks, this is an update on how we are dealing with it at Peggys paws.
I plan to continue grooming all your gorgeous dogs, if you so Wish to do so and for as long as I am able.
... I will be taking every precaution & as always will be religiously cleaning my studio & equipment, but now with a bit more elbow grease & a lot more hand washing during these worrying times 😊
I do ask that if you are showing any symptoms of the virus or are self isolating please do NOT come & drop me a message to rearrange your appointments & if anything changes here I will message you privately if I need to cancel. I will be messaging you all in the lead up to your appointments & you can let me know if you want to still bring your dog.
I will be doing handovers by the gates and if possible please can you pay by card so the handling of cash is to a minimum.
PLEASE keep up with brushing your wool coated / doodle breeds as much as you possibly can as if things get really bad I simply won’t be able to groom them.
I also suggest maybe allowing me to take these specific coat types a length or two shorter in preparation for self isolation on both mine and your parts!

The sun was shining down on the groom room for most of the day - and what a nice change it made 😊😊 These gorgeous furbabies came to visit Reilly, Flint (who wouldn’t sit still for a photo) Remi ( no photo I’m afraid) Coco and Cooper 😍😍

Happy hump day (Wednesday) !! Except I’ve had it in my head it’s Thursday all day today - just one of those days 🤣 Lovely to see Codi, Red, Ruby, Holly and Lenny. A photo from Rubi yesterday too 😍😍 Love my job !

Corona virus 🦠 Every time we turn on the radio or the tv or pick up a newspaper Corona is reported on. For that reason I need to just say that Peggys Paws is open for business as usual, however if anyone is worried at all about being out and about or dropping their dog off or collecting and feel you need to cancel or postpone for a while then that’s totally fine and I do understand (if possible please give me as much notice as possible) My groom room is carefully disinfected and cleaned, however I know some of my customers have health issues and I will do my best to reschule and rebook within the shortest time possible. Let’s keep everyone safe 😊

Wow !! Where did today go !!?? I loved today, it was full of variety and lots of different breeds and and all of them gorgeous 😍🐶 An early start with handsome Buzz the welshy, then the beautiful ‘grown every so much’ Lumi the Alaskan Malamute, then gorgeous Ruby the Cockapoo (who does the best poses for pictures) Quick break for lunch then it was the turn of beautiful Darcy the Double Doodle, and Golden doodle Dexter (he’s such a gentle giant) then a late finish with the really golden golden retriever Rosie. A rewarding day but now for my weekend 😊😊🐶

A big Thankyou to everyone for all the get well wishes, it was business as usual today and I’m feeling so much better (don’t let the croaky voice fool you !) Lovely day today with a visit from Jade (shes so beautiful) Bailey (the gorgeous silky flat coat retriever ) Freddie and Doug the Cockapoos came for a bath and dry, and Lulu the lowchen. Lulus an older elegant lady who is alittle hard of hearing and sight, but her mummy comes and stays while we give her a tidy up, then she goes home and prances around showing off her new look so proudly bless her 😍😍 it’s good to be back x
