Went tonight for the first time and never tasted fish and chips like them! They were delicious! I will definitely be returning. Very friendly staff too! Highly recommend you try them!

Went here for the first time, lovely friendly staff. Fish and chips was beautiful, not greasy at all. Nice to see a fish shop being a fish shop instead of these others that sells pizza's and kebab meat etc...defo would recommend Peggy's Plaice xx

We've just had fish bites, battered sausage and chips and it was lovely. Best fish I've had in a long time and nice to go somewhere that doesn't do pizzas and kebabs too. Will definitely be back.

I got food from Peggy's Plaice the first day it opened. We tried the fish, sausage and cheese patty... and I must say it's about time we had a decent chippy in the area. Best local fish and chips!

I got fish and chips from here last night , I've been trailing down to Merrills in Chester Road in Sunderland for the last few years because I couldn't find a decent chippie in our area .But that's all changed ! the cod was delightful , the batter was lovely and proper brown chips . Keep it up and you will have queues out the door !

Had fish bites and the bairn had fish and chips also a pattie, absolutely beautiful fish is to die for the batter is lush I don't normally eat the batter but this was beautiful, you definitely have a new life long customer �

Called in for Fish n Chips on friday and it was lovely and so tasty. Nice white cod lovely crispy batter and very nice chips. Mmmm. Staff and Service was spot on. Will defo be back.

Absolutely beautiful food � finally a chip shop that sells amazing food, isn't greasy to eat and doesn't smell greasy when you walk in. Lovely to see the food prepared and a clean kitchen. A real gem in new Herrington ��� well done

Disappointed!

Got fish chips and peas I had been told they were nice , but was disappointed batter on fish really well done chips was all ends and peas cold, on a positive fish did taste nice
