If you could call it a greeting, we were greeted by a grumpy man with the aura of a dead dog upon arrival.
It was pissing down with rain and only had a tent so asked where the best place to put the tent was. Basil Fawltys incredibly less funny, less talented and downright miserable cornish camping counterpart advised us of a spot.
Waterlogged as you like, we slipped around and managed to make a muddy wet camp, which did to be fair allow us to survive thoroughout the night.
In the morning, everyone we saw asked why we put the tent there, because it was in an area where all the rain from the field drained.
When we told them it was the guy at receptions idea, they all laughed and looked at us like we had been had.
Not a great feeling, didnt enjoy being treated like a unwanted guests for having a tent only.
Have 1* review and deserve it.

Views breathtaking! Dated washrooms and not cleaned enough. Lots of campers so need more attention. It's a pleasant site with no frills, looks better on the Web site.

Great view, really helpful staff and clean facilities. What more do you want to ask for?

I come back year after year . Nice and quiet (term time only! ) . Helpful and friendly staff . Best views in the world

Beautiful views of the sea. The static caravan is lovely. The staff are very friendly. Polkerris is about a mile away which is a beautiful cove with a pub and restaurant. Head in the opposite direction and there is a nice walk into Fowey (a couple of miles).

Well i wasnt impressed with this site. The pitch was uneven and very warn . The pitch was dirty and had the previous campers rubbish on it and lots of car tyer marks over it. The WIFI was really bad we recorded it as 2.4 mb on the one occasion over our 4 day stay we could connect. The facilities were dirty and the owners didnt take any complaints seriously. We were right on an entrance of a very busy road so our kids could play outside the tent. But the plus was the beach and the short 1 mile walk to it. The pub on the beach was lovely and the beach was very pretty.

Great Site, I stayed in the static caravan number 10 and you have a great view 👌👌

Fantastic site for exploring cornwall. Very good facilities. Only down fall a play area for children would make it 5 ☆

been to this campsite twice and booked to go again this year.i booked in march and asked for the same pitch as we had before.it was booked so asked for the pitch next to it which they said i could have.last week i rang up just to make sure everthing ok.(just had a niggling doubt).say said yes you are on pitch 31.i said no we wasnt.told her what pitch we were suppose to be on.she then said i can put you next to the toilets.which i wasnt happy about.amyway she said you wasnt guaranteed a certain pitch. just a pitch.so why do they let you ask for a pitch and say yes you can have it.but you arnt going to get it when you arrive.anyway you have lost our custom and another friend of ours arnt going either.so glad i rang up.i wouldnt have been very happy turning up and finding out we had been moved.
