Dickens’s event Saturday 24th Nov 1.30 - 6pm. * Lots of entertaining on the market square and outside the Memorial Hall including choirs, bands and dancers. * Santa’s Grotto outside St Mary’s Church. * Balloons & Tunes to entertain children in Santa’s queue. * Punch and Judy and flea circus in the library from 2-3.30pm.... * Alakazam in St Mary’s from 4.30-5.30pm * Market Stalls in St Mary,s Church, Memorial Hall and bottom end of market square. * Barkers funfair Fireworks can best be seen from bottom end of Long Street at 6pm (by Wheatsheaf Pub) Please note that there are no outside caterers (apart from at the fair) coming to this event so please support the cafes, pubs, shops and takeaways that pay their rent and trade here all year!!!
