Pennine Pen Animal Rescue

About Pennine Pen Animal Rescue

We are an animal charity based in Oldham dedicated to the rehoming of unwanted and abandoned animals.

Pennine Pen Animal Rescue Description

We are an animal charity established 2001, we take in and re-home unwanted and abandoned animals. We neuter, vaccinate and microchip all the animals in our care and vet all prospective homes to ensure suitability for animal and owner. We help as many animals as we possibly can, we do not have any age restrictions and never put any healthy animal to sleep. We neuter feral colonies and we also help people on low incomes to neuter their animals.

One of our cheeky kittens Carrie is so inquisitive her and her brother are into everything as soon as you put it on the floor. Its a shame they arent in their forever home while all this is going on but its better than being out on the streets

We are so lucky to have such amazing supporters. We put an appeal out for food for our animals to keep us going through this difficult time and for the past few days the amazon man has been very busy bringing parcels to our door (contactless to keep us safe of course) Thank you all for your on going support from us and the king 😘

We recently had a new floor in our hallway, and as you can see Kenny kept a close eye on them to make sure they were doing a good job 👀

This gorgeous family came to us after mum took refuge in a garage to give birth and had 3 kittens sadly 1 didnt make it but the other two are happy, healthy and very cheeky 💜💙

Before we got locked down some lucky animals went to their forever homes so we will be sharing their stories with you. Bingo (was Bella) was given up when the family got a kitten and Bingo became distressed by the new arrival so she came to us to find a new home. Bingo is now happy and settled in with her new family and follows them everywhere 😍💜

So behind the scenes its business as usual. The animals in our care are still getting all their needs met and cared for my our dedicated staff 💙

User

After the announcement last night we have no other option to close our doors to the public completely. The staff will still be here tending to the animals and we will still keep you updated with what they have been getting upto at the rescue but for now we are closed. If you planned on calling down to us with food donations please keep hold of the food for now and once we are back open we will be happy to take it in. We are still getting contactless deliveries from online orders so if you wanted to help with food you can do it that way or make a cash donation through our website. Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe 💜💜💜💜

*** Help us feed our animals ***
We try not to ask people to donate food for our animals unless we are desperate.... and we are now desperate as our stocks are running low.
Please try to support us to feed our animals. We have updated our Amazon wishlist as best we can, but many items are unavailable to order. We have many hungry mouths that we need to feed, so your help is appreciated.

Little Gramps had been in rescue since the beginning of January until yesterday when he finally got his forever home. He was so happy to be back in a home he pottered all over wagging his tail and then he found his new toys and he was a very happy boy 💙 Good luck Gramps.
