The best hotel and restaurant in Ravenglass. quality food and service with a good selection of beers and wine. Fantastic artwork on the wall by renowned local artist Mark A Parcel.
Great rooms, location and breakfast
Stayed for 1 night on 11 August 2017, to attend a nearby event at Muncaster Castle. We stayed in Room 21, which is in a separate annex to the main building, up some external stairs. Room was great. Large, high ceilings with exposed beams and spacious floor plan. Bathroom more compact but good standard. Shower over bath. Breakfast of a good quality but slightly slow service, slightly understaffed in my opinion. On the whole a nice stay.
Amazing food but the dining area isn't very inviting
Had a two night stay with a fabulous food , super friendly staff and gorgeous scenery. What more could you ask for
Food was pretty good. Used to do resteraunt standard stuff but now seems to have dropped down to your bog standard pub grub. Still pretty nice though.
Spent a weekend here. Nice and cosy. Rooms are clean and well decorated and the restaurant does some very nice dishes (try the steak).
Brilliant stay with great service. It is positioned perfectly for escaping into the lakes on the la'al ratty.
The staff were very helpful, managing our dietary requirements with ease (vegetarian and nut allergy sufferer).
We had one of the dog friendly rooms, and it's positioning in the barn was great - with direct outside access and lots of space.
