Penny Jones Pilates Description
Exercise for Life – And for Everyone
Pilates is an exercise method that can benefit anyone of any age and any level of fitness. It is safe and effective, exercising both your mind and you body. It will develop your overall sense of well being, improve your strength, flexibility and mobility.
We offer Pilates matwork classes with a maximum of 10 students in a class. Some classes are more gentle, good for beginners or those who prefer a more slow pace to their Pilates practice. Other classes are more intense and faster, suitable for those with more experience.
Matwork classes use the weight of you body against gravity to provide resistance. Exercises take place lying on you front or back, sitting, kneeling and standing. We also use small equipment such as bands, balls and rollers.
