We work with the Pentire Hotel providing our Disco & Photo booth services for parties, but today we did our 1st Wedding there.

I must say it was an absolute pleasure.

We've done a lot of Weddings at a lot of Venues but it was refreshing to see a Hotel really putting there Wedding couple 1st & pulling off the day flawlessly.

The staff are friendly & helpful & it's clear to see there's a great team in place.

The Ceremony room was draped beautifully & downstairs worked so well as a "self contained" private space for the evening entertainment with room for the Disco, the photo booth, it's own bar & room for Children to play.

I would HIGHLY recommend the Pentire Hotel for any couples wanting to marry in Newquay.

We stayed here after being on holiday for 11 days. We had stayed at the Wetherspoons in Camborne for 1 night then moved onto Riviera Sands in Hayle we had originally booked to stay back at the Wetherspoons for the last 2 nights, but since cancelled that hotel after reading about this one to end our holiday. What a way to end it!! The best view I could of asked for and the best room. Hotel is lovely couldn’t ask for anymore than has already been supplied, a lovely big bed en suite and a sea view. I will definitely be coming back next year on our return visit. With Fistral Beach a 10 minute walk it couldn’t get better lovely way to end our lovely hotel.

We have had a lovely few days here the room was lovely the food delicious and the staff brilliant friendly helpful would recommend it to anyone

We had our wedding here a week ago and we could not have asked for better! From when we booked nothing was too much trouble and on our special day we were made to feel like royalty from the time we arrived until we left the following day. Absolutely everything was taken care of on the day and not once did we worry about anything. The ceremony room and dining area looked stunning and the music etc was perfectly timed down to the second when I walked in to the ceremony. Lisa and Dan are such a great team and so lovely and they really made our day perfect so many compliments on how fluent the day went and the delicious food also. Our room was lovely with perfect views, clean and spacious. Only thing was I really must remember is the doors in corridor slide, not push open.. even then I tried to open it although it was already open!! We will definitely go back and stay perhaps for our 1st. Anniversary ty once again to everyone at the Pentire.

We had a fortnights holiday at the pentire hotel in 1962. I was with my future wife, and chaperoned with my future Father and Mother - in - Laws. In those days un-married courting couples did not go on holidays together alone. It was considered a Taboo. I recall the weather was sunny every day, and we sunbathed by the outdoor pool everyday from morning to evening. We had a fabulous fortnight,

Me and my mum have just got back from staying a week here in the pentire hotel. This hotel was lovely although it could do with a little modernizing/updating. Despite the room been a little small it was still pleasant enough for our stay here. Overall what makes this hotel is the staff. The staff where truely amazing they went out of their way to make your stay welcoming and satisfying and they were all absolulty brilliant. The meals where lovely too along with the breakfast in the morning you where given plenty of choice. This hotel does pull out all the stops and no matter what they make sure that you have enjoyed your stay. If i was to visit Newquay in the future I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Been back in Scotland 24 hours now after an amazing week at the Pentire Hotel, we were part of the Caledonian Travel Coach party but we opted to do our own thing rather than the day trips, was great to see some familiar faces from previous visits and some new faces this time round, weather was roasting hot so it was great to cool off in the pool then sit outside to dry off lol, our room was rear facing with a view over the Fistral Beach and of course our residential seagull was there to greet us lol, our room was spacious and airy and serviced every day, felt like it had a new mattress and pillows on our bed it was nice and comfortable even though we slept on top due to the heat!! The staff as always, smiling and chatty, food was first class, plenty to choose from and vegetarian dishes available also, before we left for our journey home we have already decided we will be back next year, it can't come quick enough. Worth more than 5 stars

User

A great hotel. Me and my now wife had our wedding reception here. We booked the venue over a year ago and found both Daniel and Lisa very easy to contact and deal with, together they made the most hectic day of our life as easy as they could. The food was a very high standard and the room we stayed in very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for a wedding reception to anyone.

User

We went to a wedding here. The wedding was very nice and decor in the ballroom pretty. The staff were friendly although seemed understaffed at times, so those that were available were stretched. The bedroom was clean, a new mattress and pillows are needed as you can feel the springs and the pillow insides had become clumpy. On the first floor you can hear every footstep, door movement and voices from the same floor and downstairs, including the loud music on a Friday night in the ballroom and breakfast goers at 6.30am. Other than that our stay was great.

User

We had a lovely weekend there our room was big with a huge kingsize bed and a single in it . The staff was great and the food was lovely . Thanks again

User

My husband and I stayed here from 9th to the 13th July on a Just Go coach tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and stay at the hotel. We had a seaview room n the second floor which was nice with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water at all times. Great view of the bay within walking distance of the town centre. We had lovely food with buffet and cooked breakfast which was plentiful and 3 course evening menu which was brilliant and special thanks to Alison, our waitress who always went that extra mile in order to help and please everybody such an outstanding worker. We had 3 nightsof entertainment and they were all very good. All in all a good hotel with lovely staff, food and wonderful views.

User

The hotel itself was lovely, great location and facilities. However the restaurant really let it down, staff were rude and inattentive at dinner and breakfast.

The breakfast menu wasn't explained to us that we'd have to order certain things other than hot food, after 20 minutes of waiting for someone to come to the table we were abruptly asked if we wanted to order hot food- no mention of any hot drinks or other food 'we were suppose to order'.

I wouldn't recommend eating in the restaurant or paying the prices for what's given.

User

Worst hotel in the world. Customer service is horrible . Couldn’t make my holidays because of illness , they would not change dates . Horrible
