Pentney Park Caravan Site

The new owners have shut down many of the facilities that made this a lovely campsite. Whilst it is understandable given that they wish to change the campsite, the lack of communication with customers has been pronounced and there has been a notable drop in the friendliness of the staff.

Fantastic basic site. Excellent toilets! Ground quite tough in places so take strong pegs if staying under canvas. Not possible to walk anywhere local which was a shame as the busy main road is closer than expected. Nice bonus of use of on site pool.

Nice site although getting a bit tired, the shower blocks could do with updating. Very nice indoor swimming poor, but costs extra.

I really can't understand why so many reviews moan about the busy road next to this lovely campsite. Surely you did some research about the location before deciding to book your holiday? If you didn't that's no fault of the owners who are always very friendly and happy to help whatever the question.
This site is not expensive compared to others we've stopped at and has a well stocked shop, a cafe and bar.
The woodland setting is beautiful and has a large selection of pitches in different locations depending on your preference of quite or been among the families.
The toilet/shower blocks are dated but are clean and there's always plenty of hot water.
I didn't expect a 5 star toilet/shower block at a campsite because if I wanted that I'd of booked a 5 star hotel instead.
To sum up, I love this campsite and have been holidaying here ​for many years and will be for many more.

Road noise. Road noise..Road noise..Who in their right mind builds a camp site next to one of the busiest roads in Norfolk.. My back garden is quieter.. We nearly left after the first night due to the constant loud drone of the cars and lorries. The site itself was tired and beat up. Not really what you expect nowadays with all the camp site competition but we were left to our own devices which is always a plus.

Not a bad camp site, reasonable clean, toilet and shower, no tv signal, mob signal week at best, small shop on site, indoor and outdoor pools. However they do charge a lot for the indoor pool and the waste is via a standard toilet (be prepared to get splashed) .
