There is not one negative about this place! The staff food and service was A-Mazing! We were a party of 9 on a works festive dinner and had an absolutely brilliant evening. The decor and atmosphere was very chilled and relaxing, it felt as if we were the only people in there. I will be back with my family ASAP!

The food is amazing, the service perfect and the staff out of this world.... the roast pork is to die for, been here loads of times and have never had anything less than a perfect meal

Somehow such a large venue feels like a series of smaller restaurants making it easy to choose the type of experience you want: intimate or social? Nicely judged menu and cooked and prepared with care. It deserves to do well; but I hope I can still get a great table when they have that success.

Simply the best Sunday roast I have ever had! From start to finish completely flawless. The lobster scotch egg was incredible and the roast beef was perfectly cooked.

The homemade honeycomb is from another planet of taste.

One of the best meal I had this year. Super tasty food, interesting wine list. Loved the view into the kitchen from our table. Simple made perfect.... No pretention, just good achievement.

I hired the private dining room 'The Den' for a 40th dinner party. The staff were excellent both in the lead up to and during the evening. Very accommodating for people with allergies even if going off the set menu that we choose from. Fantastic food and service. Afew of my friends work in events and were adding it to their list of places to use in the future for their exec team.

Had a great brunch with my wife and daughter before she went back to NY and we headed back for Oslo. Great atmosphere and service. The food was super and Mede with care 👍🏻👌🏻

Wonderful spacious venue . Great secluded location . Nice basic venue . Perfect for bridal parties and hendo’s cause there the beautiful historical church just next door to it . It’s almost perfect but I think all the things that’s attractive about it can also be there negatives , venue secluded and not easy to find so not enough seats filled and therefor too spacious ( I prefer it but I know that a lot of customers don’t like going into a place that looks empty) and they might need a Dj on a Friday and Saturday early evening to give it a little more atmosphere cause the acoustics will be fantastic if you even play it just in one corner but I’m aware that you have residents around you so you’ve got to pick which side you want to set up and time regulations . So I personally like it but not all at my table were in the same mindset as otherwise I would have given you 5⭐️. Keep up the good work and big thanks to the attentive staff , ps no visible easy access to disable toilets which I think was downstairs and I have arthritis in my lower joints and had to take the stairs . I’m aware a things mentioned by me are not possible but wish you all the best and thank you once again for a great experience 🥂

Staff were very nice. However I was very disappointed in the Christmas lunch. Starters was not great. Mains leave a lot to be desired. Brussels a bit too hard, roast potatoes were crispy on the outside but were dried out and hard. Poached pear was so hard had to ask for a knife to cut it and then it tasted like a under ripe pear. So disappointed in our Christmas treat.

Perfect service but sub standard food I am afraid. My second visit and same opinion.
