My name is Lisa and I am your insured, registered and licensed cosmetic tattoo artist.
Eyebrows, in particular, frame our face.
I work mainly freehand, rather than to a generic template or hand held measuring ruler, as this allows my inner artist to identify and enhance your natural beauty, in line with your personality and facial expressions.
Whether you choose to have brows, eyeliner or a lip enhancement, the procedure is completely safe and effective.
Generally speaking, two sittings are required, a month apart. A third top up sitting may be necessary, depending upon the specifications of your desired look though this is unusual. Once your result is achieved, an annual colour boost sitting is recommended in order to keep the enhancement on point.
The initial sitting will take a good 2 - 3 hours as this includes a full consultation in which we choose your perfect shade /s and shape. Follow up sittings usually take approx 90 mins.
The treated area will need to be kept dry for at least 48 hours and then only gentle dabbing with a soft face cloth until fully healed. For lip tattoos, remember to have straws in the house for afterwards.
The superficial healing process takes around 4 - 7 days, during which the skin will dry out and fall away in its own time. Resist picking or pulling at flaking skin as you may remove the pigment and hinder a successful result.
Treatments are mostly pain free (I have strong anaesthetic gels and creams) and many clients tend to drift off and enjoy the trance-like time to zone out and unwind!

These brows are the most enjoyable work in progress! After having a top-up elsewhere (for convenience) my lady and I were reunited ๐ฅณ and continue to enhance the shape of her brows as best we can. An example of a subtle combo brow enhancement. Often, people expect the results to be instantly striking, bold and impactful but less is more on most faces. Here you can see a subtle combination of hair stroke / powdered effect. Hair strokes alone (in my humble view) rarely look natural. In fact they look exactly as they are... lines etched into the brow. Applied correctly however, they can blend in and define shape but ought not be applied on mass or to otherwise sparse brows. Usually, two sittings, a month apart, are sufficient. For a heavier look, more sittings may be required.
