It's been all about the bonkers stuff this last couple of weeks. Wrong engines in the wrong cars! Literally makes me smile!
Jack's little home built K-Series Turbo Mini.
He's not had the best luck in fairness, and various things keep biting him. That said, you don't get this sort of thing sorted without the odd setback.
... Running an Emerald M3D LTD K6 ECU, and a JEK Fabrications exhaust manifold, it finally made it to us for a base tune. A decent 200bhp to be going on with. You may remember we wired this backalong. :-)

Crazy Mike decided he wanted to build this Frankenstein a while ago. He found the perfect donor 'Wentworth' Volvo Cars, and purchased himself a donor 200SX. He transplanted the engine and gearbox himself, taking care and cracking attention to detail to try and get the OEM look. There was alot of work involved, but achieved it perfectly.
... A DTAFast S60 Pro ECU was supplied with the donor car, so we had a great base to begin with.
We built a complete custom engine loom for this vehicle. We have mapped this on the rollers now at a shade over 400bhp for now. Mike wants to improve a few other bits and pieces before we hit the old girl with a bit more boost!

Yet another Focus RS now mapped and setup properly on our Dyno.
This lovely motor came in after having been mapped elsewhere to various lean conditions throughout the rev range, and also boost cutting.
A couple of small hardware changes and a good decent strong MSD400 map, allowing Ford Fair to happen for the customer safely.

Fairly non-eventful as expected when using the correct equipment for the job I suppose!
... The amount of times I hear about people spraying WD40 and all that nonsense onto tyres to make them grip. Also strapping them laterally on towing eyes. Many lols!
Recent BMW M5 Twin Turbo we had in. A pair of decent dowpipes, and some decent mapping on the rollers sees us with a shade over 700bhp. Emma booked her car in, as she was struggling to make all her appointments hairdressing and wanted a little more power to help out. We were only too happy to oblige. :-)
It's not really the sort of caliber of car you want 'custom mapped' on the driveway of course. ;-)
Anyway, enjoy the uneventful run of a 700+BHP BMW M5. :-)
So, to recap, pair of downpipes, decent tuning, thats +140bhp over stock. ;-)

You know, when you're watching the telly, and then, all of a sudden, a car comes on. That you mapped. Being driven by David Higgins (Pro rallyist) with James may sat next to him. Great watch from James Mays, cars of the People.

What a top man and a very professional service, called today with turbo faults and pressure faults on my 2.5 tdi t4 , went up there and found the faults in no time , very quick service ï؟½ will be back soon for remap and tune up.. Many thanks again for all your help mate

Went to see Steve from PVE today to reprogram my ECU. He knew more than any one else I had spoken to (and I had spoken to far too many people about the issue I was having) and even went the extra mile to advice me on how to fix my electric faults my self free of charge. He was very friendly and reassuring and did the job quickly and effortlessly for a very fair price. Excellent service.

Visited Steve with my MK3 Focus RS, asked him what magic he could pull out of his hat on it. Now we were hoping for a figure of 400bhp, although the car fell a little shy, this is probably due to the way the car dyno's. Steve is a very knowledgeable chap, only wish that I had visited him before with previous cars!! Will be back in the hopefully very near future for the exhaust and power run, see if we can bust past the 400 mark ;)

Steve sorted it out, the car now is totally different, Steve certainly knows what he's doing and talks you through the process, I learnt a lot. I'd totally recommend him if need your car remapping. ï؟½

These guys provide a 5* service ï؟½ if your thinking of getting your car mapped these are your guys! I cant praise them enough. Steve is amazing at his job nothings to much bother for him. Steve had my old Escort in to sort a few fueling problems, what can I say , “it’s transformed it “a good day on the rollers (and a good laugh all day )well impressed all round, well recommended, top job ,thanks again , time to go be a hooligan in it ï؟½ï؟½ï؟½

So I went to see Steve just before Christmas to see what the car was running, knowing it had been remapped. Ended up with 255bhp which wasn’t bad considering I wasn’t expecting much! Fast toward one monthï؟½ he’s now fitted the mk2 RS clutch and flywheel, as mine had started slipping! He also fitted my turbosmart recirc valve, ramair induction kit, RS ecu holder and RS vac pipe as well as a larger turbo downpipe to finish off the exhaust. Add all that together she now runs 305.8bhp with a lovely blow off turbo flutter oh and the overrun map which i love! Steve’s work is second to none, you shouldn’t be considering anyone else to get the work you need done. The knowledge he has is outstanding! Couldn’t recommend him anymore

I went to Steve at PVE with a generally poor starting and running T5 despite nearly a year at local commercial main dealer SMV. Within 5 mins of plugging it in he had diagnosed a timing fault. Fixing this he immediately transformed the van. 3 months later he's serviced and mapped it and it gets better and better.

I had my K20 swapped Honda Civic race car mapped by Steve today! He did a great job and even explained the process along the way.

Top banter throughout the day too!

Had my ek9 in for tuning . And was excellent service. Very helpful and patient ï؟½

Had my Mini JCW in with Steve today for a custom map. He diagnosed why the car was going into limp mode and managed to work around that to custom map it. Pulls harder and boosts quicker and he has sorted my rough idle in the process, something I didn’t even ask for. He also advised me how to get even more power even though he hasn’t mapped many of these cars. Would 100% recommend him to anyone.

Had a remap on our Audi A5 .. Wow what a difference it has made! So pleased with it sorted out the flatspots! Fantastic and professional service and definitely recommend to anyone! Thanks Steve
