Our Performing Arts and Drama students are in full rehearsal prior to taking two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. If you’re in the area week beginning 21st August, go and support them!

Our first year Performing Arts students have recently undertaken a short residency at The Wilson, Cheltenham's art gallery and museum where they devised a response to the paper store.

As a first year student, it's sometimes easy to forget the world that lies beyond the university, but thankfully we have a program at Uni of Glos called 'My future plan'. This is a programme dedicated to helping students prepare for a life in their chosen career. For the Performing Arts students, we were lucky enough to have the wonderful performer Becki Kucharski come and have a chat with us about life as a performer. Former student Becki works as a performer on a cruise ship and had just flown in from Barbados when she visited us. She talked a bit about what we might expect in terms of auditions and jobs in the performance industry, and patiently answered all of our questions. This was a wonderful look into the life as a performer, So thank you Becki for taking the time and being so sweet and patient with us!
