As one of the main sponsors for Supercar Driver, we were invited to Donington Park Race Circuit for Supercar Driver's season opening event where over 400 cars gathered together.
The event took on a new identity this year in the form of a charity track day with no noise limits on the Grand Prix circuit and saw the introduction of motorsport demos from F1, F5000, a Group C Jaguar and McLaren Can-AM.
At lunch a selection of iconic hypercars and classics took to the track for a f...ew laps lead by Bugatti for their anniversary – we had Ferrari F40, F50, Enzo, F12 tdf, 599 GTO, 275 GTB, Carrera GT McLaren F1, P1 GTR, Senna, EB110, Chiron, Veyron, XJ220, XJR15, One 77 and so much more!
The event was unique in that it was private and exclusively for SCD members giving a place to enjoy the social side of our community whilst getting up close and personal with road and racing cars. As always the event had an important charity focus with over £20k raised for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
