About Pesky

Pesky is a multiple award-winning animation studio founded in 1997. The Pesky story begins in 1995 when Claire Underwood and David Hodgson met working at Epic Multimedia in Brighton, UK. Together they created ‘CyberPest', a cartoony virtual pet, and other innovative animated novelties for the CD-ROM market. In the years that followed Claire and David created tons of concepts, characters and cartoons from their London studio for clients including the BBC, Channel 4, Cartoon Network, MTV, Nestle and Philips. During this time Pesky built a reputation as innovators in the use of interactive Flash animation. Their style was always playful, accessible and totally immersive. Whilst working on projects for clients, Pesky were also developing their own TV series and interactive concepts. Between 2002-2006 Pesky produced ‘The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers! ' The show started as shorts for CBBC, and ended up as a 78 x 7 minute series showing worldwide and winning major honours. ‘The Invisible Network of Kids' – a TV series that Claire and David pitched at Cartoon Forum in 2002, has been further developed and produced into the international top-rating half hour series from French producer Samka. Pesky created preschool show ‘Boj' – showing on CBeebies and across the globe. They are now concentrating on rolling out the Boj licensing program and promoting the show worldwide.
