Pet Necessities Dog Training And Behaviour

We made £160 at the Christmas Party yesterday for our charity for 2018, Smokey Paws. Thank you to all who came and joined in the festive fun. Thank you also to my wonderful team, without whom it wouldn't be possible to run such an event. Photos and competition results will follow.

Reggie had great fun at his first Christmas Party. He was pooped within 10 minutes of getting home.
It was a great afternoon and we're very thankful to everyone who came along and joined in the festive spirit.

Our 10th annual Christmas Party was a great success and much festive fun was had by all. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped to finish the year in style. We made £160 for our charity, which we are very pleased about. See you all next year!

Our sweet potato and cheese dog biscuits are all ready for tomorrow's party. These are super-high value and always sell quickly, so pick some up on arrival. £1 a bag, with all proceeds to charity.

Our Adult Dog Training course is suitable for dogs that need a touch-up on general training, or a rescue dog that needs the basics. Topics covered include how to have a dog that will relax on command, sit, lay-down, walk nicely on a loose lead, come back when called, not jump up, and have general good manners. For dogs over six months.
Remaining 5-week course – £58.00. Held at Egham Cricket Club. No class 29/12, course ends 05/01.

Suitable for those who have attended a beginner training course with us or a similar training establishment. Topics covered include all exercises from the first course with more distractions e.g. getting your dog to remain in a sit/down position while you throw a toy past them. Improving your sits/downs when your dog is at a distance from you, off-lead heelwork, and the important emergency position (when your dog will go into a sit or down while running away from you).
To...pics will be tailored to the class’ requirements, and special attention will be given to ensuring you can get your dog’s attention when there are distractions present.
Held at Egham Cricket Club. Course fee £70.00. Maximum of 6 dogs in attendance. No class on 29/12, meaning your course will end on 05/01.

We highly recommend Pet Necessities training classes, trick workshops and one-on-one sessions. Sarah has done so much for us with our dog Bailey who as a puppy was really hard work, hyperactive, biting us and not happy to be handled. Her positive nature and knowledge reassured us so much that he would become calmer with consistent reward-based training. Sarah was right and thanks to her we are 2 years down the line now and Bailey is the wonderful family dog we hoped for. We would definitely recommend them!

We have been very happy with the training classes for our puppy Murphy. Nicola has been explaining how to train him with and without treats. He has been learning to settle when asked to and wait for his food patiently. It's a small group of 6 puppies, so you can get individual attention. I recommend these lessons for puppies!

We had a home visit for our dog and then for our new pup, we were really happy with all the advice and tips we were given. Our pup Nellie has just completed her 6 weeks training session and we are starting the next level Thursday. I love how there are leads, toys and treats to buy each week, very handy. Nellie's favourite are the Salmon Lakse Kronch. I break them in half and use them for training. Very reasonable prices.

Took our rescue Lurcher Cross to the puppy sureness class run by Sarah at Egham. We all loved it! Great group, just the right size, good mix of dogs, great owners and a brilliant, well run session. Our dog Oakley absolutely loved it and is now curled up fast asleep dreaming of his new buddies. Can't wait to go back. Puppy training course already booked but we'll definitely be going back for more socialisation sessions. Highly recommended. :-) :-) :-)

Skye and I love attending classes and workshops with Pet Necessities. Sarah and Nicola are so knowledgeable about different breeds' needs and enable each dog to work at their own level, so that ex-racing greyhound Skye can really enjoy learning and making progress at her own pace.

Sarah helped our rescue dog Henry overcome his fear of people and is now a loving and confident dog. The advice and help Sarah gave us was invaluable. We definitely would not have been able to cope at times had it not been for Sarah. She has been amazing.

Sarah and Nicola have done a great job and continue to support in the training of our dog Spike. They have given great advice and their training courses have been excellent. We have attended one course, are half way through our second, and intend to sign Spike up for a third. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Over the past two years, myself and my two whippets, Buzz & Ozzy, have been attending various training courses run by Pet Necessities, including Pet First Aid and trick training. I also use their dog walking services for Buzz and feel confident that he is in safe hands when Nicola takes him out and happy that she treats him as she would her own pet. Sarah and Nicola only use positive training methods and always make the courses fun for both dogs and owners alike. Me and my partner both highly recommend pet necessities the trainer Sarah was so lovely and really helpful been using her advice and techniques all day with buster and he has been on his best behaviour she's been an absolute god send owners and puppy happier all round �

Just got back from another training session with Sarah. As far as trainers go her and Nicola are second to none. Training is always fun, informative and good natured. I would highly recommend the various workshops and one to one sessions if required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pet Necessities for a safe pair of hands for all your pet requirements.

I wanted to leave you a fantastic review after our brilliant Tellington TTouch Workshop this afternoon. I've learnt some fantastic techniques to help when Ted gets stressed and I look forward to putting these into practice.

I really can't thank you enough.

I have now trained three dogs with Sarah and her team and I can recommend them highly. The positive methods used have really helped one of my dogs that had fear issues.

I have done all my training with Sarah and her team and I really love it. I have made so many friends and I have learnt so much and I really enjoy the Trick Training workshops. If you want to teach your dog with a positive method, I recommend Pet Necessities.

I contacted Sarah about my Yorkie who was suffering with separation anxiety, Sarah visited us at home and went though our routines and issues, I was so impressed by Sarah and the positive help and advise that she gave, that I signed up for a training course, we are now on our third course and intend to continue. Rolo's behaviour has improved a great deal, and the Saturday sessions are great fun for both of us. Would highly recommend, excellent!

Great trick workshop yesterday. Sarah has the expertise to adapt the tricks and training to suit each individual dog and owner. We learnt a lot and had great fun.

Great supportive class. Ideal.for new or experienced dog owners. Practical help with issues - rescue dogs new puppies etc.

Can't recommend Pet Necessities highly enough! Both of my dogs went through puppy classes & Shankly went on to do Improvers & Trick Training. Neither have been for a while but over the last month staff at the vets and my pet sitter have complimented me on how calm, well behaved & responsive they both are - all down to Sarah's great training. If you've got an older dog or a puppy you must give them a try!
