I have had a wonderful week at Petals, had an email from TripAdvisor to notify me that petals had made the top fifty list for the whole of Essex.......we are number 27!.... Just goes to show your reviews have power so thank you XXX
Had our unannounced inspection from food hygiene and for the fifth year running were awarded five stars!!!! Phew always a little stressful when it's during a busy lunch time but just goes to prove that all is ok for my customers!!
Lots of new faces who have found me from recommendations from friends or online and so many nice comments......my favourite was "what a beautiful space .....we go to so many places and never get the personal service you provide". Just goes to show size isn't important ...... customer satisfaction is......so I will keep on doing what I do and loving it 🌸🌸

Our Wendy house at Petals was very busy this weekend with little ladies having fun! 💝
Thank you so so much to mummy Trudy for the beautiful flowers and chocolates sent to me today by interflora 💐. I felt so lucky and special but did have a good chuckle as I was saying to the lady oh my goodness my wedding anniversary isn’t til tomorrow and my hubby is treating me already!!!! I then rang him to remind him!!!! 😊🤣😍

After a busy weekend .... 2 baby showers and a hen party!!! It’s always so lovely when your guests leave such positive feedback including this lovely review on TripAdvisor ☺️
I really want every visitor to Petals to feel welcomed, special and comfortable as well giving them a day to remember and tasty food!
The down side is turning customers away .... I don’t enjoy that part at all as I want everyone to come in and see petals but sadly this isn’t possible when we have a priva...te party on!
Most are fully understanding and say they will return and they do but there’s always one who become rude and quite frankly I happily send them on the other places near by!!!
Anyway that never dampens my spirits so a weekend of Willy’s in every shape and form and twitching ovaries (thinking I could have another little one.... I am not too old)!!!!! It’s back to normal till next time!!!

Another celebration at Petals today!!!! So unfortunately we are CLOSED for today OPEN tomorrow as usual 🌸🌸🌸🌸 I, Julie will outside catering today for 80 afternoon teas!!! Will I ever want to butter bread again!???? ❤️❤️

Our cabin has been empty for a few months recently but it’s been transformed into the perfect venue for smaller private parties! Yesterday was a hen party and our first one for the cabin 🌸🌸🌸🌸
I absolutely love it! It’s so pretty!

Whilst this glorious weather is here to stay for a while I can highly recommend sitting in our beautiful courtyard! It’s so tranquil I almost forget I am working!!! 😁

Tomorrow petals is closed ❤️ I am having a Father’s Day with my hubby and children! First one in five years xx so please don’t be mad at me! He has put up with me working all the time and my babies are no longer little people and I think they deserve the pleasure of my company?!!

We’ve just returned home after yet another wonderful afternoon at Petals Tearoom celebrating Mother’s Day. I cannot praise Julie and her staff enough. This year’s theme was based around the Mad Hatters tea and I think, Julie you have surpassed yourself yet again. The attention to detail, the delicious flavours, the absolute range of foods, sandwiches fillings, cakes, lemonade, milkshakes, sweets and even fruits dipped in chocolate are all jaw dropping. We love coming to Petals for lunches but the afternoon teas for special days and celebrations are amazing. This is our third year for Mother’s Day and we can’t imagine going anywhere else. Thank you so much for making our day extra special. ���

We went to petals tea room today for lunch and can not recommend it highly enough it was so lovely the food is home cooked the lady was so friendly we had cups with sauces the deco was so quant and colourful with lots of little gifts to buy around the room.

We recently had a party for our 9 year old daughter at Petals and it was a great hit � Julie the tea room and the table you laid out for the girls was so pretty and perfect. The food was fabulous and the entertainment was priceless, the girls absolutely loved playing the food game!!Thank you so much for making it so special for them, they will remember it for a very long time xx

Visited today for some lunch with a friend & Petals did not disappoint! I had a egg mayo sandwich which come with lots of crisps/ side salad, my friend had the vegetable ratatouille & her little girl had some mini scones with cream/ jam.

Everyone enjoyed their food & there was plenty of it. The tea room has lots of things you can look at & purchase. My friends little girl absolutely loved it as there was so much to see & everything was beautifully laid out. She even received a fairy chocolate as we left! Thank you for a lovely lunch & I shall be back with more friends/ family :-)

Very pleased with my first visit to Petals Tea Room. The place is beautifully decorated with bunting and signs. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. Will defiantly be visiting again.

The food cakes and drinks were fab the service second to none

Perfection !!!!! Everyone needs a trip to Petals ... lovely host in Julie , brilliant waitress in Emily , the cakes are to die for and Julie made me an afternoon tea catering for gluten free and veggie !!! Nothing was too much trouble . I can't wait till my next visit 👍

One of my favourite little tea rooms. I've had alot of afternoon teas in the last and petals is definitely one of the best. I love the fact you get fresh lemonade as well as tea. The cakes are amazing too, perfect to go and have a catch up with friends and have yummy food. Thankyou I will be back again soon xx

Looked up on TripAdvisor for a good near by place for a cream tea. Not at all disappointed! The place is decorated with lots of bunting and cute signs. We were the only ones there and had the place to ourselves. My brother only likes plain scones and that's what we got! Warm too. Came with strawberries as well, which you don't get in most places. Will book an afternoon tea at some point in the near future. Thank you!

Just...wow! Never been to such an amazing tearoom! The decoration is colourful and light! Nothing is too much trouble! The lady moved me to a comfy chair when one became available. Very hospitable and food/tea gorgeous! Lots of thought gone into everything, little details everywhere! More of an experience than just afternoon tea!! Highly recommended! You've made me very happy today! :) Thank you! X

Just returned from high tea at petals, it was a surprise for my mum's 70th birthday...all the little touches and table set out were so pretty. Really welcoming too and a very relaxed atmosphere. ALL the sandwiches, cakes and scones were delicious and it was very good value for money. Thank you very much for making it special.. highly recommended:-) x
