How can a guy that doesn’t do chicken win a fried chicken competition 2 years in a row, then come 3rd in a chicken wing competition? For me, there was only 1 more thing that @petareuk had to conquer, and that’s burgers. But he’s done it.�This is a short special for #NationalBurgerDay which might still be on for this week, but that’s it. It’s a fried arepa, double wagyu beef patty, American cheese, guacamole, baconnaise.�I’m not gonna lie, I was really intrigued to try it, but I thought I wouldn’t like it. Having cornbread instead of a bun, I just didn’t see it working. Plus I really don’t care for guacamole, almost to the point where I don’t like it. But this absolutely banged, but it only works as a complete unit. The arepa works because of the guacamole, and vice versa. Give me guacamole in a normal burger, no thanks. But the beef is really good, and this would have fell flat if it wasn’t. The baconnaise is smokey, it pairs up nicely with the beef. I actually can’t say a bad word about this. It's basically a pancake version of an Arepa and filled with loads of tasty treats. I had the Guava glazed chicken, which was fantastic! You get that sweet tasty chicken, with a nice crunch and then a butter hit from those pink onions! Delicious 🤤 the chips are banging too!

We’ve been cooking this with @cheftimanderson from @nanbanlondon today and we made this fairly fucking awesome #arepa called EL LEOPARDO. Breaded and deep fried Katsu pork belly, sesame pepper sauce, Scotch bonnet bamboo shoots, hispi cabbage, tonkatsu sauce, fried garlic, spring onions and Parmesan! Tried the Masa Fried chicken last night at the comedy fest Lincoln... can honestly say it was one of the most delicious thing iv eaten.. so good we had another portion � going to try and recreate it at home...the staff were clean tidy and efficient and friendly..��

These guys are sick. Opened my eyes up to Corn bread!

Really tasty! Every time I just want more :) They have lots of choice to choose from and also have a vegetarian option!

Hola! Bravo, Petare. I had the Vegan Venezuelan Chip Butty at Winterville this weekend and it was stupendous! The combo of flavours is just a joy, especially the use of the 'feta' in there which just vibed perfectly with the sweet plantain and avocado. Very highly recommended.

Fantastic food, friendly people - the beef arepa was to die for! Beautifully flavoured, slow cooked filling served with plantain and beans in an anything but run of the mill pocket - what's not to like! The fries were delicious and try the spicy sauce if you things hot. Excellently executed street food!

Amazing freshly made Venezuelan food. I had the beef and the vegetarian options. I really loved them both! The arepas cakes are made fresh to order and the flavours are really nice. Alltogether I preferred the veggie one.

Amazing food and lovely staff. Petare is one of the main reasons we went back to Street Feast, and will continue to go back for the yummy food!

Amazing flavors, maybe the best of all the choices at street feast (and that's saying something). I hope they open a permanent place soon!
