Somerset-based professional photographer specialising in headshots, family location portraits and wedding photography, multiple styles including photojournalism, documentary, traditional etc.

I set up Peter Duce photography nearly 11 years ago and during that time it has established itself as a high quality Headshot, Wedding and Portrait business. I have been documenting life through the camera lens since I was 27.

My passion is for high quality Wedding and location portraiture. My natural style is as a documentary photographer, although I am very happy to be more formal. Ultimately it is all about telling the story, by capturing the emotion, in a relaxed way. If you can experience the same emotion when looking back at an image, as when it was taken - then I have done my job well.

The other essential factor on the day is the “light”. We all know the British weather is not always kind, but finding the relevant light depending on the day, is what I do. My time will be spent either looking for it, or creating it to ensure we get memorable images.

I am based in the village of North Petherton in Somerset, close to the foothills of the beautiful Quantocks; there are many places ripe for location portraiture for us to be able to make treasured memories that last a lifetime.

I also have a portable studio that I can set up anywhere (within reason) so more formal shots are also possible, in your own environment.
