I took my carbon bike here to replace two small captive nuts that hold the bottle cage in place. No problem, I was told but they would have to order in the bits which would take about a week. They would ring when it was in. 10 days later no phone call so I chased it up - the person was away for a week; when chased up 10 days later, they said they had to order it from a main bike supplier and they again said they would ring; another 2 weeks and still no phone call so I ordered the bit on e-bay, (next day delivery) bought the required installation tool, and fitted the same day. Cost of bits £2 and I still have some spares. Very disappointed in the service from Peter Hansfords. - It merits no stars on this occasion and I have only awarded 2 stars as I have had good service from them in the past.
Post script - Have now received tel message that they have now got the bits in - over a month late - and have accordingly increased my rating to 3 stars

Passed by on a week long bike ride, just switched from mtb's to road bikes. Gear cable had come away from shifter in the car. They kindly repaired for free and sent me on my way. Thanks guys.

I phoned ahead to make sure they would attend to my mountain bike the next day. However, when I got there they showed no inclination or enthusiasm to look at it. Even declined to bleed the brakes or suggest replacement. I'm never going back after such poor attitude and service.

They've completed an emergency repairs on a walk-in and without an appointment. Excellent service, thank you Sam.
