Regrettably we may have to continue to utilise just one of our two parachuting aircraft this next week into the forthcoming weekend should our Supervan 900 not be released back to us from maintenance. Should that be the case and given the expected large demand for parachuting over the weekend 11/12 Aug 18 priority will be given to 1st time Tandem, AFF & SL Parachutists. We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause our Regular Jumpers. Further update(s) will be issued later this week.

Adults in Derwentside have the opportunity to spend one or two days per week at the Day Hospice where, as well as companionship, support and diversion, they can benefit from the special attention of our multi-disciplinary team. Our In-Patient services are available to those individuals aged 18 years and over with complex problems associated with a life limiting illness. These can include physical, psychosocial or emotional distress.

Words can’t actually describe what a feeling this gives you! I done a tandem with Charlie last Thursday and his banter and sense of humour made it even better. What an incredible experience that I literally have not stopped talking about since! Thank you for the opportunity which I will never ever forget. I will most definitely be back! Can’t recommend this enough!!

What a fantastic experience! Big thanks to my instructor for the jump Dave Taylor, I was nervous but you just made everything so simple and straightforward it really helped to keep me focused and calm to enjoy the whole experience. The weather was not on our side so a lot of waiting was involved however, once it cleared up the instructors got the last of us out one after the other quickly and efficiently. Thanks again!

Such an incredible experience made even better by the amazing staff. We jumped as a group for charity on Saturday and had the most amazing time. The staff really do make the experience, the instructors were fantastic at keeping us at ease yet making sure we understood everything we needed to do. Charlie was my instructor and he was absolutely brilliant at calming my nerves and making sure I enjoyed every second of the jump. Would highly recommend this place and would love to do it all again someday.

Our band of merry nut jobs from Team Paragon in Darlington jumped for #TeamLuke who is suffering from a rare form of cancer... Three of us chose to go for the 15,000ft upgrade and we all agree that 10,000 wouldn't be long enough in the free fall so if you have the testicular fortitude then go for the upgrade... it truly was amazing...



As for the staff and instructors... they were all top notch! They all have a wickedly sick sense of humour which suited us all down to the ground! Whilst they're playing around tricking you, it takes your mind off what's about to happen... it's not normal to throw yourself from an airplane and the brain takes a little while to catch up...



Once it does... boy what a ride... a great experience for a great cause with a bunch of great people getting us up in the air and back down safely!



Question is... when can we go again?

I have just had THE most amazing experience of my life! As part of a fundraiser for MIND, the mental health charity! Being something of an adrenalin junkie we booked in for a 10,000ft tandem skydive, not really knowing what to expect, yet at the same time filled with excitement.



The boys & girls at Peterlee were amazing. From the guys checking us in, thru the orientation team right thru to the instructors, all friendly, cheery & really know how to put your mind at rest! Making the whole experience unforgettable!



Altho after talking to the trainers we were so fired up that we agreed to upgrade from 10,000ft to 15,000ft, it turned out to be a fantastic decision as the freefall time is extended from 20 seconds to almost a minute.. giving you time to immerse yourself in the experience!



My instructor Dick was brilliant, he had a great disposition, the perfect balance between the 'this is serious stuff I'm telling you' & making it fun! He chatted all the way thru the ascent, made me feel totally safe about jumping out & made the descent an experience I'll never forget.. even getting to take control of the parachute for a while..



If you are teetering on the brink.. Do it! You won't regret it... I'm already planning my next jump..

Did my first tandem skydive on Sunday 1st July with my instructor Danny who was amazing ! Also huge shout out to the camera crew whose footage was awesome �

The guys are so professional and take excellent care of you from start to finish. I was really nervous but it was the best day ever for me, my family and my two charities

Did my first ever jump today for charity. To say I was terrified would be an understatement but all of the staff especially my instructor, Lee, were absolutely amazing and made me feel as relaxed as possible. I can’t thank Lee enough for getting me through what was a huge day for me and for saving my terrible landing haha. Would highly recommend this place for anyone wishing skydive. Thanks again guys xx

Did my 1st tandem skydive yesterday and I have to say 'Simply Fantastic'. From start to finish I could not say one bad thing about the place.



I booked the day before at 10pm, and arrived on site the next day for 2pm. In total, I managed to do the whole experience within 3 hours of arriving and 30 minutes of that was waiting for the video to be edited and put onto a USB stick.



I had Mike as my tandem instructor, and I thought he did a fantastic job. Easy to have a laugh with, talked me through everything I needed to know. Couldn't fault him at all. I didn't catch the name of the woman who did the filming but again, very friendly and professional. Couldn't be any more pleased with the video that was put together. For anyone jumping for the 1st time, I would highly recommend it.
