About Petersham Cellar
Online wine retail and members club specialising in fine Italian wine, aiming to communicate the combination of Italian tradition, culture an passion.
Petersham Cellar Description
Petersham Cellar was founded by Giovanni Mazzei from Castello di Fonterutoli, Tuscany and Lara Angelica Boglione from Petersham Nurseries, London.
We hope, through Petersham Cellar to communicate the combination of Italian tradition, passion, research and innovation that is transformed into the essence and characteristics of these extraordinary wines.
Petersham Cellar has been created in order to promote an ever-evolving selection of hand-picked fine Italian wines to anyone interested in discovering and experiencing these delicious wines and the culture surrounding them.
Petersham Cellar is no ordinary online wine retailer. We will guide our clients through the most interesting and outstanding variety of wines from across the country, bringing with them their stories and taking you with us on the journey.
We hope to inspire through our events, connecting the individual with the wine through placing it within it’s cultural context, thereby forming an appreciation and enjoyment for understanding and tasting wine not only for it’s technical structure but also for the historical and romantic nature that surrounds it.
Petersham Cellar will be holding regular tastings at Petersham Nurseries, bringing together wine and food from a particular region at a time.

We're back! @petershamcellar Here 2 moments from our last wine dinner at The Petersham restaurant in Covent Garden. Amazing selection from Castello di Gabiano, the focus was on the big Adornes Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG, we tasted 2013,2011,2010 and the admirable 2004. Thank you all who joined and Marchese Giacomo Cattaneo Adorno who told us the stories of his family and his wines. #winedinner #italianwine #meettheproducer #winelover #wineevent #londonwine #petershamcellar
