those guidebooks and stay away from Google as I am here to lead you through
the streets of London with my 'Taylor made' speciality tours. So, just relax and
kick back your heels as I take you on any number of my magical mystery tours!

I cater to all ages, tastes and pockets. So, be it culture, music, food, fashion,
burlesque, comedy or making a stand at 'Speakers Corner', let me indulge you in
one or all of these pursuits!

Know your Duke Ellington from your Fitzgerald, Coltrane from your Parker,
Muddy Waters from your Wolf, Hendrix fom your Clapton, Stones from your Beatles
One of my passions is music; and London is simply steeped in history you can almost
hear the sounds bellow out from every corner. Cafe, pub, bar, theatre, or even
church, each place is individual and offers a unique atmosphere for all you music
lovers. Some of the best places I find are often the smallest - so much so you can
feel the power coming from the drum and the vibration from the guitar! So, nod
your head, or bank your head in time to the music, it is all out there!

London has been described in some circles as becoming the culinary capital of the
world. This may have been mocked just a few years ago, however, the city has
experienced an unprecedented rise in quality restaurants over the last decade.
With over 300 languages spoken in London it should not be hard to understand
why this is. From traditional East End fare to exotic and fiery curries, we have it
all. Portugese your thing, no problem, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, no problem,
Vietnamese noodles, no problem, Jellied Eels and mash. . . . . it is an acquired taste
but the Cocknies will tell you otherwise - I will let you make up your own mind!
So, pack a good pair of walking shoes and make sure you make plenty of room
in your stomach for there is a positive feast at your disposal in this city. Come, let
us discover it.

Feeling like topping up on a bit of culture - come rain or shine there is always
something to do. From browsing the second hand bookstalls by the river( - hey,
it is good to see that not everyone has gone digital and the romantics amongst us
still live on) to watching a play at the celebrated Globe to experiencing what life
was like during the fire of London, Jack the Ripper and the Blitz. Everywhere has
a story to tell and I aim to bring it to life in all its glory! Just try and imagine the
sounds, sights and even smells that might have greeted you at one time!


Fancy engaging in a spot of shopping? I must confess I can't promise you Harrods
or Selfridges - although it is sometimes fun to 'try' and buy something for less
than a fiver in such places! No, I want you to experience modern day London and
let you meet the 'real' man and women trying to make a living. We are talking the
independent shops and the market traders here. From the fruit and veg sellers to
the antique dealers to the records shops to the jewellers and clothes designers,
let us get out there and explore. Take a camera, take some money and why not
enter into a bit of bartering at the same time - I swear they will be somewhat
disappointed if you do not try!
