After the governments actions taken last night we have decided it is in the best interest to close the restaurant with immediate effect until further notice. We really wanted to offer you takeout but we feel it is best for all for us to close for now. We will be back as soon as we can and look forward to welcoming you.

UPDATE!
As you will have all heard as of tonight we will be closing the restaurant as dine in. We stand by this decision and believe this will be best for all!! Takeout will as planned to begin tomorrow evening at 6:00. Please bear with us should the phone be busy! We are changing the hours too, since we will be closed we will only offer take out in the evening Monday to Saturday. We will however be starting at 17:30 until 21:30. Each order will have a number and payment will... be taken over the phone so please have your card ready! We can also come outside and pass you the food should you wish, please just let us know! In terms of order time that will be discussed on the phone as it depends how busy we are as well as what exactly you order!
Finally, a little prize and thank you from us the first 6 orders which also order a bottle of wine will receive a small bottle of Bollinger for FREE! We would like to begin with a big thank you for all the support we have had from you in the past days as it really means a lot to us so once again a big THANK YOU!!!
We have spent our past few days figuring out all the logistics for the take out service this included creating a menu, working out how we can pack all the coco goodness into a box and ensuring we are following all of the councils regulations (Big thank you to them for all the help!) We can happily say t...hat from Saturday evening we will be offering take out! Here are all the details:
The menu which you can find in the photo attached is a selection of items the chefs have chosen which we believe will be the best quality for a take out. As you will see its not a big menu but we think it covers a bit of everything so we do hope you like it! Alongside with this, wine / soft drink will also be available at also an adjusted price so you can still enjoy a few glasses with your meal! Orders will be taken over the telephone along with payments and pick up times will be arranged over the phone. For now we are not offering delivery but we do understand there are people who are not able to leave so please do give us a bit more time to figure that out! The order times for the moment are the same as our opening hours (12-14:00 18:00-21:30 Monday to Saturday) Please note these hours may change, its a bit of trial and error for us. We look forward to your calls!
The only thing we ask of you is to share this as far as you can! As you will know we like to stay a little hidden gem but in a situation like this we do need to make sure everyone knows we are doing this! Please also tell anyone who might not use social media. Even ordering one takeout a week from one of the local businesses will mean a lot! So please have a good look at all your favourite restaurants too!!!
Finally we would like to thank once again for all support from you. We know this take away won’t be quite the same, but it is something different and we are sure if you light some candles up, put Piaf on the speaker you will feel nearly like at Petit Coco.

Important announcement: We are sure that by now you have all heard the government’s advice which recommends people to not go out to pubs, clubs and theatres. While we support this advice to an extent it does put us in a difficult situation where we are expected to continue work while everyone is advised not to go out. You will have seen other local business mention this and we are all in this together. So here is our plan for the meantime:
We remain open and still invite yo...u to come and dine. Should you feel unwell please follow the guidelines and self isolate. This is best advice for you and everyone around you! We will be cutting down on the number of tables to increase distance between each table, as well as cutting down on staff to ensure you are provided the safest service possible and decrease risk on anyone else. We continue to take all the steps to minimise the chances of any spread and all the procedures are being followed. As we said in our last post, we really are making sure both the staff and customers are safe. We are a family run restaurant and would not be doing anything that could put a risk on anyone around us. Finally we are now fully preparing to begin takeout service and possibly delivery. There’s a few more things we need to figure out before we go ahead with it (such as a delicious menu 😊) but we will be updating you in the next few days so please keep an eye out.

As you are all aware the Coronavirus is continuing to spread throughout the world and has taken a serious effect on some countries. At Petit Coco we are always putting our guests and employees as our first priority. Though business is as usual at the moment, we are making sure all the correct steps are being taken to prevent any spread.
