PH7 Wealth Management provides a refreshing 21st-century approach to pension planning, wealth management and tax planning. I was initially introduced to Paul by a friend of mine who is an existing client and from the outset, Paul was professional, approachable and efficient. Paul clearly has an extensive and in-depth knowledge of pensions yet his refreshing approach demystified the extensive and often overwhelming pension regulations. Paul was interested in who we were and wh...at we wanted to achieve, he took the time to ask many questions and obtain a full understanding of our circumstances and requirements before explaining clearly the various options available. All options were discussed and each and every one of our questions was answered in detail, no question too large or too small. There was no pressure and no time limitation. Finally, our pension is serving the purpose for which it was intended and, thanks to Paul, we are able to enjoy our long-awaited retirement free from financial worries. PH7 provide a personal, comprehensive and up to date service, many thanks. - client testimonial

So proud to receive such amazing testimonials. They truly highlight why we have been shortlisted for Retirement Adviser of the Year! #ILPAwards
"Paul at PH7 wealth management was recommended to us by another independent advisor. We're glad he did. Paul takes the time to explain everything in detail and going over anything at all that you don't quite understand. His primary aim is to make sure his client gets the best from the funds that they have available, be that from takin...g lump sums, early retirement or just making sure that the regular payments are there to take advantage of. In short, Paul works with clients personally and plans their dreams, aspirations and fears rather than showing you graphs, funds and charts, and due to his further study in Psychotherapy and the opening of the PH7 Wellbeing Centre he understands clients and makes financial planning a much more person-centred approach. I would certainly recommend Paul to my Family and Friends"

Whilst most advisers give advice on accumulating capital and investment funds, my intention starts with raising awareness about things like the average age of death being 87 in the UK and looking at what ages you want to spend money, and more importantly what things you want to be doing.
From my work with clients this tends to be:
• Working less hours... • Taking more trips/longer weekends • Spending more time doing the hobbies they love to do

Working through the 'fear' with clients using Empathy..........It feels great to receive client feedback.
1. What was your situation before you came into contact with Paul – PH7. What where you looking for what concerns did you have? and aspirations?
'Concerns were with the options available to me'
... 2. How did you find Paul and his approach to financial planning?
'Paul is empathetic and easy to talk to - he explained my options clearly and understood my concerns'
3. How has the advice received impacted on your life?
'The experience was encouraging and insightful and I have a much better understanding of my situation and feel much more in control of it. The ‘financial future’ was a scary unknown before and now, well it;s less scary and much clearer - I know what I can do to improve things for myself going forward and feel confident in the advice given
5. On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best how would you rate Paul
5
Would you recommend PH7 to your friends and family

Do you have unrealised dreams? Is there somewhere you have always longed to go? Is there something you would love to do but right now there just aren't enough hours in the day?
And what age do you see yourself doing and experiencing these things? At 67...70...75?
... Planning now means you can bring those ages down a decade. Call us for financial advice that creates a real retirement strategy, one that will create a time in your life where memories are made for you and those that love you.

We were very kindly given permission to share this with you:
I urge you to read and reflect on this case study, it may just change your life.
John came to PH7 Wealth Management when he turned 55. He had a pension fund of around £250,000. He was single and his daughter lived 200 miles away.... He wanted to: 1. Reduce his working hours 2. Renovate his house and have a new kitchen 3. Ensure he could take regular capital withdrawals so that he could see his daughter more often
At the age of 60, John had worked 3 days a week over the past 5 years and was encouraged by Paul to continue to spend more of his pension money as at the age of 65 his state pension would have started.
John finished work at 62 and withdrew £20,000 p.a. from his pension.
Before the age of 65, John generously drew more capital out of his pension and paid for his daughter to have IVF treatment. It was successful and a beautiful granddaughter was born. His happiness was obvious, precious times were shared.
Sadly, John died at the age of 66 after developing cancer.
His residual fund was around £210,000 due to steady investment growth in the fund.
As he passed away before the age of 75, this full fund was passed to his daughter tax free and now they have a secure future.
Paul took the decision 11 years earlier to go against the advice from the compliance department who stressed he shouldn’t draw benefits before the age of 65.
As Paul is also in advanced training as a Psychotherapist, his financial advice is unique and bespoke as it is designed for the client and includes aspirations and objectives. Meticulous planning is carried out with care and compassion so dreams can be realised.
A child was born, time was shared more generously and although John was taken early his legacy will remain for years to come.
Paul and the PH7Wealth management team would Like to thank the family for allowing us to share their story.
Why not come and have a chat with Paul about your financial future?

Every week 84 men take their own life.
That's 1 every 2 hours.
In the UK, suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 40.
... There has also been a dramatic 'spike' in women taking their own lives over recent years. As suffering and pain ripples through families and friends, loved ones are left behind.
We judge others to hide our internal fear and shame, when the walls of judgement come up we disconnect from our true self and our true essence to feel free. For some, when the loneliness and fear becomes too much, it can feel like the only way out is to get out. That becomes the reality.
Our NHS faces many problems in trying to support this growing problem and waiting lists of 9 months and prescriptions of anti-depressants seem inadequate.
PH7 LIFE has been created as a non-profit organisation that will innovatively run 4 & 8-week courses specifically working with people who are suffering with depression. We will integrate Psychotherapy & Counselling with Holistic Therapy and Group Therapy, with workshops 3 days per week to support and enable people to find the lost connection within. Helping them to move away from the past torment into a meaningful life.
These programs are for people who may be absent from work suffering with depression, have had long term depression and/or feel stuck and lost and want a new way of thinking. The intent is that depression is dealt with at the earliest stage rather than when it’s too late.
We aim to run the first programs in May 2018 and believe this will be the start of many to come. If people are struggling and want to enquire about this support, please get in touch with us to access this funded program.
Just liking and following the page gets our message out there so we can hit the ground running.

If people are looking to raise money for a good cause and have been touched by the impacts of depression then please get in touch, we would love you to be part of this journey. Thanks Paul

It's common sense to plan financially for our future, so why don't we? Here are 6 common reasons:
1. Affordability The cost of living has increased along with the consumer type of society which surrounds us. We are the throw away and replace generation, encouraged to want more and more in the here and now.
... 2. Rule changes I have provided financial services for many years and the rules have changed with every year. In recent times, the changes have been dramatic and people are simply not aware. I feel there is not enough advice out there and my goal is that PH7 will become THE centre for good financial planning.
3.Trust Finances are extremely personal. Advisors should take into account plans for the future, fears and goals. Objectively covering each part and assessing affordability requires a high level of trust. Non-regulated advice, scams and frauds, sadly, scar everyone in the profession.
4. Lack of knowledge I find this more prevalent with business owners. Poor advice from accountants or lack of it. Misguided advice from financial advisers who don't understand planning with company profits which leads to massive losses over the long term and missed opportunities. With the right knowledge, company directors could be 19% better off. Companies paying £40k per annum into their pension can save around £7.6k in corporation tax.
5. Learned Psychological States A lot of people get their needs met at work. Recognition for work, connection with others and a place in the social structure is important to them. Thinking about this coming to an end causes anxiety and subconscious fear. Planning for the future is too overwhelming.
6. Fear Fear of getting it wrong. Fear of financial security. Fear of not having enough. Fear holds us back, taking over our true desires so that we stop planning and dreaming.
The surprising thing is, fear can be healthy. It can make us plan more effectively and creatively. Please contact us for good, solid ethic bound advice. We want to help you realise your dreams so pick up the phone.
